Yesterday I picked up "Spiro: Dawn of the Dragon" and "Fairytale Fights" from EB $25 each for PS3.

I have been looking for some time for a game I can convince my girlfriend to play with me. Well last night she sat and played Spiro for about 2 1/2 hours and then fairytale fights for about another hour. We're going to play some more tonight.

I believe I have discovered the secret - the game must have the following
1) Co-Op - Chicks don't want to sit there and watch you play, they also lose interest in you watching them play quite quickly.
2) Be fairly easy - spending an hour trying to solve a particular puzzle or problem is too long. 15 minutes on any one thing without success maximum.
3) Cuteness - She wouldn't be interested at all in fighting games but in Fairytale fights, it's Snow White that she is controlling while slicing people in half with an axe. She loved it.

I have 2 games now we can play together, does anyone know of any more PS3 games fitting these requirements?

Little big planet!

My girlfriend prefers to watch me play rpgs as she sucks ass at them but loves them :p

Lego games would all fit the bill

Mine seems to prefer to watch TV in the next room while i game tbh. And given i'd rather play Gears of War than Fluffy Bunny and Snugglekins save the Fairies, that works for me too

Buy a second decent TV and couch for the formal lounge and you'll never have to worry about anything in this thread.

Downloading 4 seasons of Dexter helps if you want extended game time

It's not about having game time, I'm free to play as many games as I like. I would just like to be able to play games with her. We have a second TV and get seasons of lots of shows but we watch through them together.

No worries. TBH it'd create more tension than harmony with my missus so i couldn't think of anything worse. She's a hopeless gamer

Heavy Rain.

It's not co-op but it's the only game I've played in front of the missus so far that she has been genuinely engrossed in.

She was more into watching it than I was playing it.
