This will be there 3rd or 4th finals appearance and been top 4 to and home often makes to much excuses.

Where is the pressure on Chris Fagan to deliver them success

List is overrated. Like St Kilda's. Those two coaches are overperforming.

It honestly drives me insane when people criticise a coach on the basis that they have a winning percentage in finals below 50%. If you’re team is the third or fourth best team in the comp and plays to its level, you would expect to win 1 and lose 2 finals, giving a winning record of 33%. Teams like Brisbane and for years Chris Scott

had finals records like this not because they were bad coaches but because only 1 team gets to win the whole thing - there’s teams that go close but peak at 3-4th best in the comp for a few years, creating a shitty looking finals winning %. Doesn’t mean they can’t coach. They still got closer than most teams and most coaches.

That passage of play where the Brisbane player kicked the ball out on the full and the camera panned over to Fagan clearly whispering the words 'terrible kick' is why he needs to be up in the coaches box. Players sitting on the bench don't need to be hearing that from your own coach.

He always looks worried and nervous. That energy must brush off onto the players.
