Probably to early but I did mentioned to a freo supporter he was playing like Fyfe during the game. I'm hoping he turns into a suped up Brendan Goddard.

I'm bringing him into my Dream Team this week, so he better be like Fyfe.

In all seriousness though, he was breaking tackles like him and has a similar build. Loving Yeo right now.

Similar body types and way they go about it - Fyfe just does everything a lot better and has done so for 2-3 years.

Some of Fyfes stats when he was 21
Avg Possession 25
disposal efficiency 63%
Avg clearances per game 5.8
18 goals for the year

Yeo this year so far
20
74%
2.8
6
I think by the seasons end yeo will have numbers similar or better than Fyfe at the same age

Definately Fyfe like.

Lets see how he goes when he cops a bit of attention like Fyfe does.

Fyfe has only copped a tag a couple of times this year - i'm guess because he isn't that dangerous (relatively) in general play around the midfield (unlike Hill and Mundy) and you can't stop his clearance work with a tag.

His two massive weapons - which make him a star - are his quality clearances to advantage (whether being tackled or not) and his ability to be extremely dangerous forward

I agree. If you have a player who can beat Fyfe for strength at the contest AND beat him for leap in contested marking then tag him.

Otherwise Stephen Hill is the most damaging player.

99 times out of a 100 - you'd rather that bloke be offensive - ie Yeo...

This is where we'd need a Rowan Jones. Superb in the air, strong over the ball, diligent team ethos ... ummm... that is it

Would be the perfect prototype tagger for Fyfe.
