Home, Away, Clash/Heritage kit for a non-existing team
For Example.
- University in 2014
- Brisbane Bears in 2014
- Fitzroy in 2014
- Melbourne Hawks in 2014
- Footscray/Fitzroy Merged team in 2014
- Tasmanian team in 2014

I think all these have been done either in comps (MOTW for both footscray/fitzroy and the melb hawks have been done by me atleast) or workshops around the place. Dont get me wrong I would enjoy this comp and participate but Im thinking others may not be as happy to rehash whats already been done.

I see, but the list I provided are teams that are known in the AFL world as real life proposed teams either already existed, from a merger or a future team instead of teams made at complete random. Perhaps some have been done a while back, but there have been new people on the board nowadays and it would be great to see what they can come up with. Yet again I await the 10 likes.

Yeh I realize that first point and looking back I think i was one of the few if not the only that did a footscray/fitzroy merger for MOTW so it would be a new concept to most others on here, and have edited my post accordingly

On the second point as soon as I posted I thought about that too and of the people that were here when I was originally 3 years ago there are not many left and of those there are only three maybe four that are still active designers or even posters. So I will like your post for the comp and hope it gets 9 more because I need something to do on my days off HAHA!

LogoOTW has a fortnightly (or so) cycle but it's a good way of conveying that there are new rounds on a regular basis.

Ive read about these bids before and I believe there was one from Bays/South aswell based out of Noarlunga Oval (or Hickinbotham as it is known now)

Glenelg and Hickinbotham Oval are 25km away, are they not?

Yeh about that. At the time (1994) Souths were based out of Panther Park at St Marys about 10kms away from Glenelg and playing home games at Adelaide Oval. Souths moved everything to Noarlunga for 1995 to gain themselves some more supporters in the southern suburbs. Im thinking this is the reason they wouldve moved to Noarlunga had they been successful with their AFL bid. The HQ location alone may have alienated some Bays supporters but they wouldve have still played home games at Footy Park/AAMI Stadium.

Regardless I think I remember reading somewhere the Glenelg/Souths AFL bid was least likely out of all of them at the time.

Ever wondered "What if The Bears still existed?" or "What if Tasmania had a team?"​

Each Wednesday a non-existing team that has been known in the AFL world as a proposition or a former team will have a spot in the 2014 AFL Season and your job is to create a Home, Away and Clash/Heritage kit for the proposed/former team. It is known that some teams have been used for Workshops or Competitions in the past, but there has been a wave of new designers since then and it would be a great chance for them to bring out their nostalgic side for these pieces of alternate history.
