Yeah congrats guys! I mean it can be said that we were undermanned and stuff which is true to an extent but a win is a win and it was a big one so full credit to the Dockers! :)

I've said before I've always had a soft spot for Freo, and was thrilled when you made the finals last year so hey keep going!! :D

All the best for the rest of the season.

yeah, good to see that no lions are really whining about the depleted squad..... i cant see those few players making up for a 59 point footballing lesson.

now the lions have somehting to bounce backm from though.

and yes, beating essendon away would be sweet..... lets wait and see

I think that's a little unfair.. so i'm going to do the whining for them :)

As it started brissy had an undermanned forward line, they're backline was quite solid and midfield excellent. Losing Keating, forcing Bradshaw out of the forward line, forcing Johnson to go forward, really messed with their structure. Injuries are hard to play as an excuse when you field 22 fit players and they have to do their job, but a worse situation is when during the game your structure goes to crap and you have to change things from there.

Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted with the win and really happy we finally played a good game. And I think we could have beaten brissy with a full squad at home also. But I think the win and margin should be put into perspective a little.

The Dockers were absolutely irresistable on Saturday. Brisbane were downed by injuries and were short all day. It was the Paul Medhurst show - kicking nine goals... the second best by a Fremantle player in history.

You gotta feel for Brizzy........... all those injuries and then CC rolls out the secret weapon.............. the albino freak CLIVE !!!

The last 2 weeks have been pathetic............. up steps Clive and we are back in town :D :D :D

it's actually quite humourous to look at our record with and without Clive recently..

Kenny_01, correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe you said 10-2 v 9-9? Now it's 11-2 v 9-9.

And I believe our highest scoring games (and now our first 20 goal effort this year) also had Clive a part of them.

wtf? ;)

If anyone can explain that, you know more than I do. He's great to watch tho :P

Voodoo I think the answer is simple.

When Clive (the Albino) is in the team it takes the pressure off Med and Wiz. The opposition are busy manning up on Med and the Wiz when in the middle of a quarter a big crowd roar is heard, the opposition look up and think what the ...., when they see an Albino sprint onto the field. From there on they lose all control of their opponents (Med & Wiz) and their bowels, due to the scaring presence of Clive.

It's called scare tactics.

Hope Brissie can be sewn back together again as they are a very highly respected outfit, by this punter.
