He said he had to take over from Matt Clarke in negotiations too, like there’s no way grown adults actually believe the dribble that comes out of his mouth.

He has said this will be his last season working at a club for 3 consecutive years only for each year to then pop up around draft time, claiming he’s a “consultant” for another club.

No. Put together a list of the genuine long time WC trade and draft nuffies. Particularly the posters who boycotted my presence here. Not one of them has ever criticised or argued back against something Phil has posted. Even when Phil posts one of his long state of West Coasts list posts, and details particular players and whether he believes they’ll make it or not, or that WC probably don’t see finals until the end of the decade.

Not a peep.


And I actually followed Phil’s account during the trade period and then the draft.

The only time he posted on here was early in the morning or late at night, and once during lunch.

He wasn’t posting during the draft.

I know he keeps saying he’s done with recruiting. I keep saying similar things to my wife about my current job, but I’m still here.

What I find interesting, is that there are WC mods, long time WC draft and list nuffies here that engage with Phil, and others that don’t call him out as a b.s. poster.

None of them “Like” posts calling Phil a fraud either.

That’s the most noticeable thing here. That the posters with apparent street cred here don’t ever criticise Phil.

It's not that big a deal any more.

Some people care what people think of them, so they play the mediator and fence sitter role. I remember thinking, "do these fellows actually believe this shit?". Clearly some did/do. I think there were some who didn't, whom it didn't bother. I think others didn't believe but didn't want to rock the boat. And I think lots were, "is anyone going to call this fellow out?".

Anyway, Dr Phil is part of he furniture. Good contributor. Good to make a joke about. If people want to believe it, that's up to them.

He's a small forward who made a living kicking goals at Carlton roving the the feet of Curnow and McKay.

We are a shit team that doesn't have forward 50 entries, and when we do, they are unpredictable, slow and rubbish.

Struggle to see any small forward making a good showing goals wise in our team.

A good small forward has the ability to pull one out of his arse against the grain.

For me Sam Toner was the standout for the Young Guns. He ended up kicking four goals and was a menace all game:

Like what would they get out of that? Think of how much effort it would be to invent all these scenarios, some of which have been very detailed and open up risk for being exposed as a fraud.
