Current Draft Picks:
Round 1: 1, 2, 13

List Spots Available (39 of 48):
• Main list (33 of 38) - 5* (in: Starcevich, Young out: Allen, Ryan, Chesser, Hunt, Petruccelle, Jamieson)
• Cat A rookie list (5 of 8) - 3* (in: Robertson (pending), out: Rawlinson)
• Cat B rookie list (1 of 2) - 2 (out: Livingstone)

* Based on Dewar being upgraded after the maximum 3 years on the rookie list. Hutchinson may also have been upgraded but this isn’t confirmed - if it is we will have 4 main and 4 rookie list spots open

We did it. We threw away pick 3.

We get unders when a player leaves, we pay overs when players come in. We stick out to the Gold diggers a mile away.

We love being cucked, its on our mission statement.

We are a disgrace.

Your a disgrace getting so emtional and unhinged over a game TBH.

Esssendon traded with the "win and shaft teams in every trade mantra". Act like dicks in every trade negotiation. Where did that get them?

Hawks walking the same path......made a prelim and hit the ceiling and now oppo clubs are making them pay overs.

Can see players and managers steering clear in the near future as they are difficult to deal with.

As opposed to a club that isnt anal in attempting to fleece opposition every single time and get deals done and move on.

**** Hawthorn. I’d love a very clear example being sent to them. They could have chased Petracca and would have probably managed to get him but instead they lured a contracted Captain from another club only to have it blow up in their faces.

Worpel leaving as well weakens their midfield so whilst they see every other top 8 team around them improve (bar Collingwood) they risk falling out of the 8 next year.

I also see it strengthening any potential trade we may have with Essendon too.

I imagine Carlton will look to package up 10 & 11 to move up the order and get a decent pick in ahead of Dean. Richmond’s pick 4 for instance.

Tigers probably take Robey with 3.

Blues you’d think would take CDT with 4 if we overlook him

Either way this creates a fear with the Bombers of missing out if they don’t get 2 and leapfrog them both.

2 + future second for 5 & 6.

If someone of quality falls to 13 take them otherwise trade the pick into next years draft.

Excellent summary.

Just need the FOMO to keep growing for CDT and Robey.

Would you trade pick 2 for 7&8 from Melbourne?

Just because we have 1 and 2 doesn't mean we have to take CDT just because he might be rated the number 2 player in the draft.
If we can't move up the draft would we swap 13 for a future first next year in what we think is a better draft?
Who would give us a F1 for 13?

Maybe Geelong if they think that would unlock Curnow deal. But otherwise i don't see it. Even that I'm sceptical of because Blues don't want 13 as will be eaten up by Dean bid.

They might also do it so could move for Marshall.

Having said that i don't want their F1. It's likely to be pick 17 or 18 before it gets pushed even further out with compo picks.

It depends on the Eagles' assessment on the draftees.
If the top 10 are very even, then yes. However, if the top 4 draftees are a lot better than others, then no.
I believe the Eagles will take only 4 players from the main draft (may be 5 if we are going to put Cripp in the rookie list). Hence, having more higher picks is beneficial.
Also, Melbourne have not obtained pick 7, 8 from GCS yet?!
