Those later 2nds would appreciate in value on draft night too I would think.

This kid from Bunbury . Liam Ryans cousin . Why is there no talk about him ?
We just let him rot in hell for 4 to 5 years instead.

I'd sweeten the deal with Geelong. Throw in a pick with Brander to get Clark. I've held all my Brander stock but in a side full of quality talls he's never going to get the opportunity to develop into a role. Vozzo still has nightmares about the deep railing Wells gave him in the Kelly trade so he's probably too scared to askBrander for Clark probably is a fair deal - both have fallen dramatically in value in the past 12 months
How would we get 24 and 33 from the Suns?As posted earlier if we could land 22 from Swans and 24 and 33 from the Suns we would have a very flexible draft hand to play with.
Having 22, 24, 30 and 33 IMO would be fantastic with only trading Hickey, a future 2nd and a couple of 3rds.
There are quite a few non FS / NGA's that will be available in that 2nd round. Plus other clubs will be burning up picks to match 1st round bids. They won't want their next years 1st downgraded so plenty of 2nd and 3rd rounders will used to pay for bids.
I would be looking at the two best mids, the best ruck and the best small forward. There are some nice rucks ranked 20 > 35.
Pick up Alec Waterman as a DFA. Job done.
Wash rinse repeat next season.
Would love to move into top 20 of draft with a strong chance of 1-2 good prospects still being there.Duffield reckons the Swans are very keen on Hickey and have offered him a 3 year deal. Said it's looking like we may now keep Vardy and trade Hickey to get us back up the draft.
He also said Langdon will be for a 2nd or 3rd rounder so hope he's only half right.

The world has had a crappy year. No WAFL must have halted some development. That is being a tad over the top.
People need to remember Brander was an Eagles fan as a kid. If I was Brander I wouldnt be spitting the dummy because Im living a dream. 0laying and training with players like JK who I have grown up idolising. If Im not getting olayed in my preferred spot because of JK playing on Id just suck it up and wait my time.
If I needed to wait until I was 23 before cementing my spot so be it. It is part of the journey and there are people round the world who are living in hell this yeqr, not playing in the spot I prefer isnt even close.
Jesus don't have a meltdown if it's a third won't you boys.
All comes down to where that third rounder currently sits, and ours are both at the back end (before they get pushed back further on draft night and FA)
The third rounders everyone is so DESPERATE to keep is pick 49 and 54(the 4th round starts at pick 56)
Don't wet your panties if Vozzo gives up one of those. It'd be different if this wasn't a compromised year or the picks were earlier in the round, but they aint.
49 or 54 for an AFL quality small forward, after the season we've just had, after playing Brayshaw, Ainsworth, Ah Chee or O'Neil up forward all year. Crikey.
"Nup, future 4th or piss off" - Haha righto![]()

Sigh, Cats to clog up the top 2 again next year, only to fall short in finals when their vets tire out.Isaac Smithjoining the retirement village in GeelongPLAYERCARDSTART7Isaac Smith

His sidestepping and poise is amazing . I havent seen a more impressive highlight display of an 18 yr old . He must have fitness or some other issue as you say .Very impressive. Been tracking him for a while now as a long term option for the replacement of Jetta that is likely to be available for our selections.
What has surprised me is how well he has adapted to playing midfield this year - his hands remain glue at ground level and he reads play so well.
Massive upside about him, but he is still very raw and his fitness levels need to improve dramatically.
Still would be happy to pick him up as a rookie spot.
Just looked him up. Highest possession count at colts level is 16 touches.Very impressive. Been tracking him for a while now as a long term option for the replacement of Jetta that is likely to be available for our selections.
