There's no doubt long covid exists but a percentage of people reporting it would be psychosomatic or attributing long covid to other health issues.

The Papa is vaxxed, there's no reason he should get the LC of doom.
Marshall's plan of opening up the border but still keeping all these shit rules in place is ****ing stoopid. Especially for hospitality. One case in your establishment and they have to close for 7 days. Your staff lose their wages. You have to throw out all your food. Proprioters lose all their income.

No-one can explain why having a case of covid in a vaccinated-only establishment is a cause for concern.
It does always make me wonder with some of the symptoms.
Like fatigue for example. If you go through all the panic and anxiety of getting something that you know is life threatening, go to hospital etc, of course you will be fatigued long after the physical effects are long gone. That's a normal human response to trauma.
Because the vaccines aren't overly effective and it could still cause breakthrough infections in vaccinated people.
Also there are always those that can't take the vaccine that need to be kept away from covid cases.

and SA has the borders open with 25,000 people waiting to get in. I was at the local shopping centre this morning and there are people without masks and not wearing masks correctly. One bloke walked into BWS and despite the signs about wearing masks he was served no problem. I guess SA has to have an Infection wake up call before people protect themselves and others.
