Rather than.sounds like the government will now do a fiscal package following my recommendations and help people who are actually being impacted by the virus economically rather then waste money on people are the least affected economically.

Never fear, the private sector will save us.
I cannot believe the federal govt has allowed 4 cruise ships to dock in Australian ports this weekend..all with known cases on board, and not one person coming off will be tested, are we ******* serious here?

We’re in a half-arsed isolation situation where many people are making an effort but it may not work because there’s so many holes in it and so many people who just don’t get it.
The Aus govt needs to show some ******* leadership. It’s just so clear how utterly incompetent they are.
Shut the borders immediately. Those that do come in need to be temperature tested and quarantined in a govt facility if required.
Shut meeting places - pubs, restaurants, shopping centres, cinemas.
Shut workplaces.
Only exemptions for essential services - health, groceries and supply chain, petrol, emergency tradesmen, communications, utilities, emergency services.
Shut schools. Those workers in essential services with school-aged children need to be able to nominate a carer who will be paid a short-term government wage to look after their children. Workers in other industries will be home anyway.
Give police the power to arrest those gathering or loitering in public places (people are free to move about if they have a purpose). Those doing the right thing shouldn’t have their efforts wasted by ignorant morons.
Get on the fu**in TV Morrison, you useless campaigner, at the same time every single night and try being a ******* leader, address people about the seriousness of things and how they’re progressing.
Hopefully these measures will knock it on the head within weeks and can be lifted. After that, borders remain closed until a cure or vaccine is available. We’re lucky to be an island and should take advantage of that.
None of this is easy but can be done and the more of it we do, the quicker we can deal with this and start the recovery.

Xi hasnt got rid of the virus.his shutdown in the end was probably a waste of time that just delayed the inevitable. The Aust govt has a tricky situation...if we shut down the housing market collapses and that’s the end of it. They will not be able to recover the economy for years to come. That said, it needs to be done to weed out this pandemic.
It’s a nasty cycle ahead of us.
I arrived on 13/3 before new measures brought in and there was absolutely zero testing or temp checks..I passed Taipei on the way home and they grabbed me out of the line at TPE and made me test for it.
#scottyfrommarketing needs to be like Xi at this very moment in our history, we need to be dictated to without fear or favour because the Australian public are too worried about the economy to care about their health, both of which are set to burn.
And bring in the ******* military to enforce it.
...now, any of you science types out there?! I am going to explain what I had in December because I am dead certain I have had this.
2 weeks before Xmas I am fine but I travelled outside of Victoria to Brisbane and so on...
Few days before Xmas I had the sniffles etc. I thought nothing of it. (I work with a lot of people that come and go from China)
Xmas day, felt a bit sinus’ clogged.
Boxing Day, I went to 1000 steps, had a few issues breathing, took a dose of the ventolin and was good...that day was quite cool.
27th I felt pretty rotten..I went to the Dr in the morning, was drained and felt like the flu was coming. I went early in the morning and it was quite cool.
27th afternoon and it was all over, my head was pounding, my breathing was extremely tight. I was boiling hot.
28th, incredibly hard hit, I couldn’t move because I could barely breath.
This lasted until early in the New Year, each day I thought I’d turned the corner it knocked me back down again...
3.1.20 and I finally started to sweat and the fever broke. It didn’t break hard, just small sweats in the night that lasted for a week. I visited the Dr and he got me on the steroids, antibiotics etc etc...
Fast forward a week and I was back at the Dr because the cough was deep and causing me issues..he ordered a blood test, White cell count etc.
11.1 and I get the call from the Dr and he says come immediately..so I did. He said that my white cell count was high and that whatever I have It is working overtime to get rid of, so he gave me another dose of antibiotics.
Fast forward to Feb & March and I still have the cough and lung inflammation and it is still producing mucous, though it is clear now. It made me wonder what on earth it is that I had/have...and if this is Covid or just a bad hit of the 2019 flu.
I would be very interested to find out...Especially after the Dr said, “of all the cases I’ve seen today yours is the worst.”
Even in times like this they can’t let go of their bloody mindedness. So in the biggest stimulus since world war 2 is their any support for let go workers? It seems only businesses benefit and they benefit even if they fire all their workers.

The Libs have been a policy free zone beyond attack the opposition for at least the last five years and have been richly rewarded for it. It's little wonder that when called upon to actually govern they've come up wanting.Morrison is the biggest issue. He is an absolutely appalling leader - I cannot state that strongly enough.
I feel it’s beyond partisan politics. This bloke has failed the leadership test at almost every turn. I’d personally prefer Abbott as leader at the moment.
