Agreed. **** 'em, they can't keep us down. That sucks.
It was worth the risk - one extra week.
Lets move on now.
RICHMOND'S tribunal appeal blew up in its face tonight when Trent Cotchin was found guilty and handed an extra week off for a late bump on Kangaroo Sam Wright.
The Tigers unsuccessfully argued that Cotchin's bump was not high, as the match review panel ruled yesterday.
But after medical evidence was presented that Wright complained of a sore jaw when he left the field the jury threw out the appeal.
Cotchin, who could have taken a three-week ban by pleading guilty to the charging report, lost his 25 per cent discount for an early plea and was slapped with the full 425 demerit points and a four-week suspension.
The Tigers were in effect bidding to reduce the ban to two weeks, accepting that the bump was reckless conduct with high impact.

Rubbish. History was againsed us right from the start. Not many get off or a reduction once the original penalty is handed out. It was ****ing ridiculous contesting it.
Im so pissed off at Richmond over this. Now we will play Carlton with out him![]()

We wouldn't beat Carlton with or without him, no need to get your knickers in a knot. Footage clearly shows there was no head high contact, can't believe they took "medical advice" of him having a saw jaw over the actual footage. His hit head the ground after the hit so obviously he would have a saw jaw. We had a case so IMO it was worth the risk, this defence was much better than the Jackson one. Although off the back off this one I'd never challenge another one again.
Rest will do Cotchin good, not the end of the world.
