he'd wanna get out of there quick smart... spending time in an indian prison would be very very low on the priority list of most people...

oath. read in one of the articles it's a bailable offence... if he gets bail, i'd be skipping the country any way possible...

Yeah, seems like he has never learned from his mistakes. Seems to be a bit of a douchebag.

But I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet - wait until it goes to court. We only have heard one side of the story so far.

What a total douche. I'd consider this, if true, a worse crime than match or spot fixing even.

Don't call him a douche until the true events come out; I wouldn't be surprised if he's been set up, it's a pretty corrupt event.

Also, we shouldn't forget that he suffers/has suffered from depression. While I understand that it isn't an excuse for going off the rails as he has, I think we should try to have a little bit of sympathy for the bloke. It is an illness that isn't given due respect in the public arena, and I pray that this setback doesn't hinder his recovery.

Hard to believe, note that he has a history of this kind of stuff.

I know; but this is India/the IPL. He has good blokes like Dirty Dirk Nannes defending him and pleading for the public to wait til the 'truth' comes out, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt atm.

Lol you could start to field a good strength team in the jail if all the match fixers where thrown in there too lol.

Imagine that an Indian Prison XI

Bahahaaaa

Sersiouly this twerp deserves time in an Indian prison, ungrateful twot.

Had the potential to give the Western Warriors the reputation of the West Coast Eagles teams of the mid 2000's....lucky he didnt drag down Shaun Marsh (his former best mate) in the process.

Yeah, this looked a bit odd. It's something you could imagine Pomersbach doing given his record, but given of the number of people in the know who were coming to his defence, it seemed like their was another side to the story.

Not a bad life though. He's pretty much a club cricketer at the moment, but gets a few weeks work going to parties with Chris Gayle earning big bucks over in India. Will be interesting to see if he can get into the Queensland setup, because he certainly has the talent and will smash a lot of first grade attacks if he doesn't.
