Crows by how much?

It would usually be the team I'm tipping that I support, and after my second 2/8 for the year, I need a certainty. Clearly my shouting at a television or computer helps this.

I'm sure it does.

I've found that my yelling at the TV can even turn delayed telecast games!

Unfortunately I've found they turn the wrong way more often than not.

Adelaide's win against a hapless, ineffectively emotional Kangas was fairly overrated (if at all).

You are probably right. I dare say even your mob would have won...

But on second thoughts...

No presti will. Clokely will be more concerned about just getting a game - he will be waiting with baited breath!
Hope Jason Cloke plays so we can give him a warm welcome at Football Park! ;)

Collingwood to hit their straps and win at AAMI again.

Adelaide's win against a hapless, ineffectively emotional Kangas was fairly overrated (if at all). Brisbane is the only team in the comp playing quality footy at the moment, and even that is questionable going by this weekend's result. If Goodwin misses, expect the mind-boggling Crows midfield depth of Bode, Doughty and Gallagher to carry them from the brink... :D
Would have thought a 54 point away win against the Roos was a better perfromance than a closer home win against the Tigers. However, I agree that the Crows didn't play anywhere near their best & will need to improve to beat the Pies (even accounting for their poor form). Goody has been struggling by his standards, so we have been winning without a major influence from him. Even if he misses, still have Roo, Macca, Edwards, Stinger, Stiffy & Ladhams in additon to the names you have mentioned. ie. Nothing wrong with our midfield depth!

This is rich.

A Port supporter calling a 54-point away win against the Kangaroos overrated.

LMAO.

Magpies by 2 points.

The Crows have played pretty average in the last two weeks. The Roos lost the game the other night through their inaccuracy.

The scary thing is wait till Adelaide turn it on.

I put $100 on them for the flag at 7-1, they are the best side in the comp after Brisbane and they travel well.

No anti-Adelaide bias in this pathetic troll of a post, is there?

As for the mid-field, bright eyes, have you ever heard of McLeod or Riciutto or Bickley or Edwards??

Do us a favour and go play with your stolen hub caps in the middle of the road.

Pies will will pull it out and win a titanic struggle with Buckley BOG as usual against the Crows.
FINALLY! At least one Collingwood fan is displaying the usual ****iness. The rest of you are putting us on a hiding to nothing!

Adelaide should win comfortably against a Collingwood team down on confidence.

What is it with Port fans bagging Bode? Can't get over the fact that you off-loaded a top quality inside midfielder?

Perhaps you should look back on the actual circumstances of how he ended up at your club. He wasn't in the top 5 mid-fielders at our club (and still wouldn't be) and actually asked Port to initiate a trade so he could get more opportunities elsewhere. Lucky for your club Port agreed to a trade.

I'm sure you'll find we're more than happy with getting Shaun Burgoyne as a result of the deal.

C'mon mate. Thats not the case our "friends" from Port don't believe that Bode would be in their best 22

Midfielder wise he wouldn't be..........

I know I'm more than happy to have Shaun Burgoyne in preference to Bode.

Haha, Pies fans talking up Adelaide, Crows fans talking up Collingwood, everyone has a reason why they can't win just in case they don't. You all should be coaching Essendon. Sheedy would be proud.;)

I was thinkin the same thing ODN.
Im travellin to see this game so the Crows had better win.

Crows by 5 points....big name players missing but the Pies have gone cold and with our pace we should get up....there I mockerd 'em

Why is it that the Pies play well at Footy Park? Any Ideas?

He may not have been then but he sure would be now. Only Francou and Stevens, and possibly James would be superior midfielders to Bode. Bode's a much more consistent performer than Shaun Burgoyne currently is.

Your joshin surely... Chocko would take him back tomorrow. LOL

Nope......I wouldn't have him before Francou, Stevens, James, P Burgoyne, Carr and Cornes given the midfield roles they play...........

Add to that Shaun Burgoyne (pick 12) who will be playing a midfiled role within 2 years and Bode's opportunities would be extremely limited..........

I'm not saying he isn't a good midfielder (and I'm sure the club would agree) but it was just a matter of being at the wrong place at the wrong time and luckily things have turned out well for him.

I'm happy to see him getting the opportunities and playing well......even if it is with the enemy as the lad's a top bloke and deserved more chances than what he was getting at Port.

Currently yes but than Shaun is also 3 years younger than Bode and is only really in his second season of playing AFL football - I'm happy with his progress and can see him being a very important long term player at the club.

Carr? Cornes? Pfft... these blokes are negating players and can't perform the dynamic work in the centre that Bode does. And Burgoyne isn't even a fully fledged midfielder.

Not everyone in a midield plays the attacking role......even your top 5 don't play that role............each mid field is made up of different roles for different players.

Only reason P Burgoyne isn't a fully fledged midfielder is that Francou, Stevens and James play a similar role but he's a handy player to switch to when someone is being tagged out of the game.

I am more than happy with Bode and would just about class him as untouchable.

Midfielder wise, I would only rate Francou, Stevens and James on par or better than Bode. Bode runs all day and does all the tought 1%ers that will help the team. He is improving his disposal by foot. Once he improves that, he might even crack it as AA midfielder.

Bode has turned into a consistent hard at it midfielder that is always at the bottom of the packs, the sort that coaches love. I think Bode would be welcomed with open arms by any club. Hell I think he might also crack it into Brisbane's 22. ;)
