I think if you are going through a sauce bottle inside a few of weeks, in the cupboard is fine.

If its longer, the refrigerator should be the choice.

We used to go through bottles of it before my son left home. Now one bottle lasts for months. Always keep/kept it in the fridge, though.

Actually, I am finding that now too that he’s gone. Hubby still does a fair job. Those bloody Costco sauce bottles last a LONG time! Lol

Thats the correct process. I mean the sauce company itself recommended this. Its definitely the safer option.
