Call me old fashioned ....what's with this hugging strangers on meeting for the first time ?

What happened to young people protecting their "personal space" ?

I'm not hugging anyone ......if you don't want to shake my hand ....at least value MY "personal space"

As a trained amateur body language expert .....Konstanty has already turned his shoulder, to hug .....it's an uncomfortable Horse that feels obligated to respond

Like men learning to express emotions I think hugging is a good thing. Now it isnt something that comes naturally to me - both expressing emotion and hugging - but I like seeing younger generations being comfortable doing so

But I also agree all generations need to recognise body language in responding.

Haha I got called up for jury duty here in Ballarat several years ago, apparently the accused and his lawyer didn't like the look of me because they vetoed me. Can't say I was too unhappy about that given the bloke was charged with interfering with his young daughters so it would have been pretty gruesome to hear all that. He was found guilty as charged.

I was never a hugger myself but have done more so in recent years.

I realised why should I deprive someone of a hug if that is what they want. It doesn’t matter to me and with those I know really well I give them a massive bear hug!

140 people in the jury pool .....40 are balloted & taken to court .....12 are empanelled

That's an 8 % chance to serve on a jury
