Mate if i gave or received a punch for calling someone a d#ckhead over the years i would be a very lonely miserable d#ckhead of the highest order.

Or just an Adelaide supporter. ;)

We can always re-start the Burton/Lade squealer topic again. ;)

Burton wins by a nose. :thumbsu:

So he can be held accountable and then other morons may thing twice about doing a stupid thing.

He has brought the club into disrepute by his immature actions, even if he isn’t a representative of the club.

Theres a good idea Ban everyone whos called someone a :D:D:D:D__d

Excuse me....... :thumbsd:

Personally I would have done the same but yeah being an AFL footballer Brogan shouldn't have done that, but I congratulate him on having the guts to do it :p

Geesh, reading this thread is like being forced to watch Days of our Life.

Some d***head goes to Airports to hackle players. Fact.
One player stupidly gets sucked in and hits him. Fact.

Player will now be dealt by Club, police and possibly AFL and all circumstances leading to alleged assault will be taken into consideration, including provocation and alleged manhandling of player by person. Fact.
Also, going on all reports so far, d***head will remain d***head.

What is there to debate?

As long as you don't clunk the kid's nose.
He is big enough and ugly enough to mouth off and be a "hero" then he is big enough to take whats coming his way.

Sure Brogan over-reacted and sure he shouldn't have punched him but this "Dale" "character" deserved all he got. What kind of low life mouths off at at someone, provokes an incident and then runs off trying to sell his story?

What gives him the right to do what he did? He is a w@nker and he should be humuliated and if he is a crows member of any kind, his membership should be cancelled and he should be banned from football for a period of time.

Look, I am all for friendly banter as much as the next bloke but there is a line that shouldn't be crossed. This fwit crossed the line and while I don't agree with what Brogan did, the little "kid" deserved what he got. He needs to pull his head in.

Excellent. I've been waiting for the Stiff one to weigh in on the debate. Now I can go to sleep.

This seems to be the general response from the moronic Port majority. It was all his fault. In 2000 you were saying it was all her fault. Isn't about time your club and supporters looked to lay the blame at the players instead of blaming the victim. Like i said, culture - pffft.

Funny that so many of you lashing out at Brogan were the same ones defending Goodwin to the hilt for strangling a photographer who was standing across the street.

Also funny that so many of you siad that the photographer got what he deserved.

Sure Brogan way over-reacted, but what gives this clown the right to heckle and abuse players in their private space (regularly by what he supposedly said on the news) and expect nothing to happen because of the thought that footballers have to be on nun-like behaviour 24/7. Best thing that could have happened. Hopefully he will think twice before thinking hes a legend for having a go at a player. Hopefully it will keep other such tools from doing similar.

Agree with everything you've said here Stiff...:thumbsu:

except for the bit where the club should cancel his membership........nothing to do with the club....;)

Sorry MD but if that f@#$wit goes on national television with crows gear on then we need to protect our image.

I cringed when I saw him in Crows jumper. We don't need w@nkers like that "respresenting" us.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

Just out of interest, does the guy who kinghit the other guy and broke his nose come into the picture at any stage as far as guilt goes.

Just about every Port supporter either here or on our board has said that he over-reacted and probably shouldnt have done it. Yet again, you only read what you want to read.

Brogan may have over reacted but if that supporter was giving him a hard time i have no sympathy for him. Players shouldnt have to cop abuse like that for no reason and one thing that supporter will learn is not to get cocky enough to do it again

yep - I hated this as well - (some people just aren't worthy) - but if our club took an official position on this by cancelling his membership ....it would just add further validation to this w@nkers weekend wet dream.

Well said. I dont know why the media and everyone keeps calling the guy a kid. Not like hes 12. Hes an adult and by the looks of him a pretty solid one at that.

Cancelling a possible membership may be a bit much, but maybe a phone call from Trigg to say that this sort of behaviour is not aceeptable from so called supporters of your club would be the best line of attack.

Agree with that, I dont know why he though by putting on the guernsey (unless he was told to do by the reporters) would help his case.

Silliest move he has made so far (apart from calling Brogan a d1ckhead :D) lost alot of public support.

Obviously thought it would be a Crows supporters 'call to arms' or what not. Seems most Crow supporters think he is a right tool. Especially admitting that you regularly go to the airport to heckle opposition players.

What is your official height where it becomes ok to king hit someone or is it still ok to if he was a 10 year old with a smart mouth He is obviously not the brighest spark around and it was about equal to Jonothan Brown v Skipworth
As a measure of what can happen I have known two people who died from falling backwards

No he would gain a lot of pleasure from that. A little piece in the paper saying that the AFC do not condone this behaviour and they are very disappointed and saddened that it has happened. ( or something like that).

Both clubs have to come out and say something otherwise some Port fan will think it is ok to mouth off at a Crows player. ( well when we get out of gaol)

No, he did NOT deserve to be PUNCHED IN THE FACE for harmless, stupid verbal abuse of Brogan.

You may be level-headed at times, Stiff, but this time you're way off the deep-end with utter stupidity. What Dale got in no way was justified or deserved. Get a grip on yourself, such violence is utterly unacceptable.

I think the AFC should keep well away from it.
They would most likely feel the same way about it as most on here, but it is potentially a lose lose situation for them. Best move would probably be to do nothing.

Whats this height crap got to do with it?

Quite simply if the f-wit kept his mouth shut and he wouldn't have copped it. He wanted to be a hero and he got what he deserved.

And your comparions is pretty :D:D:D:Dty to say the least. Did you see "Dale" on the news? He sure as hell looked a lot bigger than Skipworth both in height and weight.

He wanted to be a hero and it ended up backfiring on him and to top it off he had the nerve so say to Brogan "Don't do it again or it will come back to bite you on the ass"
