Anyone know anything about Ziggy?

Seems to be getting in and amongst it for a young bloke.
Think he was playing in the Great Southern league last year. Not sure who for.

Saw him last week. One of those 'tweeners' - 185cm forward who is a good mark for his size. Looks pretty handy.

That's exactly what Sando would have wanted, a response from Stiffy in the SANFL. A poor game from Pets or Callinan this week will have their spots in question. Has he ever kicked 7 before?

Stiffy booted 7?

First time that Kerridge has really gotten me excited about what he could be capable of. Few guys could be getting a bit nervous if he keeps that kind of form up.

Stiffy with 7 too, way to respond to being dropped.

I am sick of Martin always dropping back to the SANFL from the sub- interchange. He needs to be given his chance in the team for a greater period. One thing about Sando is that he has no guts- just plays the same old players that Craig did. Patrenko, Wright, Van Berlo are primarily just defensive players and thats where we get killed as we dont have enough speed or creators in the side. There is only room for one of the above guys as given we have so many slow legs in the team ie Rutten, Otten, Vince, Walker etc we need other guys around them with speed that can create ie Martin and even Tambling. The game is about speed these days. And Sando '"start forming your own team and taking some risk. Johncock on the other hand was one of our best ever small defenders , he provides direct run from defence and takes the game on - "my mates and I cant work out why he has been taken out from defence with AN INTENT NEVER TO RETURN. Stupid call by Adelaide

Like to think that with this pressure on spots, those incumbents perform or perish. We can't have a side with just youngins but we do need to give some youngins a chance

He was plucked from nowhere and showed nothing in year 1. That is not a promising form line

He wasn't great in his first year, sure. That said, he spent much of it injured, and still made the league side several times. It would have been silly to spend a pick on a project player and delist him after a year (though we have some form in that regard...) so we were always likely to retain him.

It's not as though we spent an awesome pick on him either. Pick 46, was it? By that stage it may as well be pick 80 - you're just throwing darts against the wall and hoping some hit.

Seven goals to Johncock! He's just a mile too good for SANFL level. I'd still like to see him given a go back in the Crows' backline.

As for Kerridge, I've always had the worry with him - where is he going to fit in our team? He is a class above at SANFL level, but lacks a definite standout feature to demand him a place at AFL level. Is he an inside midfielder? If so he's got to find an opening between Thompson, Dangerfield, Wright, possibly Crouch, etc. If he's an outside midfielder, are there concerns over his pace and skills? And if he's purely a winger he's in a queue with approximately half our fringe players.

Stabby, if we can't fit Kerridge in as an inside mid when would we ever plan on playing someone as far back as Joyce? That's by that selection was silly and we should have gone for an outside mid.

Kerridge does have a standout feature and they are is skills. They are sublime. Other than that he is a big, strong and relatively mobile mid who I am confident will come on.

When Sando came in preaching contested footy last year I thought Kerridge would be right up his alley.

The beauty of trading away players like Douglas is that we'd get a better pick, plus games for the likes of Lyons/Kerridge. It's a win-win.

Cmon Sando, you know it makes sense.

What would Douglas trade value be?

Folks lets not pigeon hole Kerridge as an inside Mid. My understanding is that Kerridge played more across HB last night and in my view he can play more than one role in our team

The continue form of the lads in the sanfl Is going to put some real pressure on the gold passes being dished out to the likes of Vince, Pets and Nutter

If Sando is ever going to be a Premiership coach he needs to build competitive tension at the selection table or players will play with no fear of losing their spots and guys knocking on the door won't believe Sando threat of dropping players

Our selection process if not changed could lose it's credibility
