I dont think we thought we were weak, but players and coaches felt we needed to be tougher in big moments. Hard to argue really, but yes we do have a resiliant group.

1. The media ...Crocmedia and Caro (rucci) have had a vendetta against the club for 12 months ....it's essentially a bullying campaign, where the bullied cannot fight back

2. The ongoing feel amongst players on gameday ...their performances, did not reek of a group distressed or fractured

3.No complaint has been made to the AFLPA ?

4. No player Manager has come out in the press ? .....a given you'd expect

5. Our leadership group have some very strong personalities, who would not have allowed anything untoward .....Sloane is Vice President of the AFLPA FFS

6. Young players these days will not be silenced or bullied to keep quiet

7. Given no-one (media) is accepting of club statements .....i would be pretty confident it's Fagan that has asked the AFL to bring the integrity unit in ....to put this to bed once & for all

8. Finally, you give me ANY statement & i can turn it into a negative

I've had a gut fool ......i won't be wasting 1 more minute on this shit......there's a deliberate attempt by the media to rip this great club apart .....and you're relishing it

That's an interesting debate ....and the heart of the issue ...but coming out now is a waste of time ....whatever the club says will be rebuked

Just on this Jacobs stuff, I would be careful.

The first version I heard about that from the most reliable source was that there was a session about regrets and things you would change if you could and sauce pretty much brought it up himself.

The latest version was from a mate of a mate who's a sanfl bogan who said they ripped into sauce about what his brother would think about his GF. He also said they were forced to piss in a bucket and drink it.....

Cause if it was, I’d assume no player would actually submit to it, and secondly, we’ve got enough strong voices in our planning group to have spoken about something like that.

The AFL is very insular, it’s not in McGovern’s interest to burn the AFC at this stage... although his manager did say multiple players were reconsidering their future at Adelaide.
