It’s a long time since I’ve been as excited about a player as Thilthorpe.
He’s just so likable.

I have a feeling there will be a few KPD's and Cats fans who won't find him very likable after tonight.

The thing about Geelongs defense is its exceptionally well drilled. However, my hope/suspicion is that it's specifically well drilled in stopping 2 KPFs, not 3 and certainly not 4 (if we are willing to roll all 4 out at once for some periods).

I've always been super wary about going too tall. But these 4 players are not your average lumbering talls. And I genuinely believe we have stumbled across a distinct competitive advantage this season that we are scarily still fine tuning.

Feel like the AFL umpires will be rubbing the green of the home team with all its might. They have 2 weeks worth of frees to dish out!

It seems like the Geelong aura exudes from every player, even when in isolation they might seem like an average player. You couldn't ask for much more if you were a Cats fan. So infuriating. When they eventually do drop to the bottom of the ladder, I'll savour it. I just hope Chris Scott and Danger are there to experience the demise.

If there is inherent bias, I’d bet on it going the other way. First, to contradict Chris Scott’s claim about home town favour and second, to disprove that evening up can occur. Us getting the rub of the green only perpetuates current claims.

If the whispers are true and Stewart is out. I don’t see how they cover him, given their shorter emergencies. If he was touch and go, why would they not cover for him in selection? Makes no sense to me.

You're not limited to your emergencies if a player pulls out. You just get a fine if the player you use hasn't come from the emergency list. If ROB is out tonight, you can bet that we'll be replacing him from outside of our emergency list.
