We are favourites. We are expected to win by 12 points (the line is 12.5 points ) so we should all expect a 12 - 16 goal win against at team that smashed a top four slide two weeks ago.

I would be happy with a one point win.


We have outperformed in the Showdowns for the last 7 years. Do we play above our normal standard or do they crack under the pressure of favouritism? Over the last 7 years they have finished above…….7 times. They have made the finals 5 times and we have always been travelling (to Europe) in September. How will things workout when the shoe is on the other foot.

A win sets up our season, a loss and we are back in the pack struggling for a spot in the Eight.

Got a members pass from a work mate for tonight, first AFL game for f*** knows how long so hoping Adelaide start well and go on from there to minimise the spittle and flying teeth early so I can salivate on their excuses, complaints and lamentations of Kern and Koch.
