I'd bring Cousins in to fill the role of Dan Howe to be honest.

Yep that will be their line of thinking now, should get a good block of games to announce himself as a genuine AFL player. We will miss Howe's size around the contest but I think cousins is slightly quicker and has better skills. He has done a job before this year so we should be feeling OK that it won't hurt us that much not having Howe there.

The last time anyone got more than a week for a trip if I can recall was Paul Dear back in 92. Got 4 weeks for breaking Peter Foster's leg. That was an outcome based suspension just like this one. Only hawthorn get reamed like this. And people out there think we get away with everything, absolutely deluded.

He may as well, yeah. As soon as the plea was guilty it is deemed that it was intentional and he's getting weeks. To try and argue impact is medium after ol brittle bones has a broken leg is the stuff of fantasy. O'Farrell, just O'far*off

Laughable that they grade shit based on outcome and not the actual incident in isolation. Injuries happen in football, are they going to start suspending players for standing on another players foot causing a busted ankle or when a players finger gets dislocated in a tackle. How about suspending players who are earning a large pay check for being bog standard (read: most of Carlton's list)?
