GHS is a long way off Lyons. We shouldn't be going anywhere near him - would be delist material for Geelong if they didn't have so many list spots to fill.So he's Lyon?
Except we'd have to pay for him

Anyone else find Smithtastic33 reminds them of a certain recently-departed poster?
Horlin-Smith, you mean? GHS is slow in terms of leg speed and isn't the biggest-bodied mid going around. He's a smart footballer and is generally clean by hand and foot. He doesn't get as many possessions as you'd like for an inside mid, but I guess he still has time if you consider Matt Priddis didn't come on until his mid-20s.
Personally I think GHS's most suited position is as a medium-forward staying close to home. He's played forward pocket previously and has done very well. He can kick a clutch goal as good as anyone. He's no world beater, but IMO he's no spud, either.

Nope Murdoch. His fiancee just graduated from a BA, with LLB still to finish at Adelaide Uni.Horlin-Smith, you mean? GHS is slow in terms of leg speed and isn't the biggest-bodied mid going around. Poor Geelong...

They'll be howling now.geelong fans must be pissed expecting to get both him and danger for free.
Ah, there goes that theory. Alex would have just accused me of trolling, called me a port supporter in disguise, and said he was sick of this board. You do have a high-volume take-no-prisoners style that resembles alex_is_on_fire though.Who am I supposed to be?

Cheers for the write up, but I did mean Murdoch- his fiancé studied law here and moved with him, so I assume she's an Adelaide Girl!Horlin-Smith, you mean? Okay, now I think you're alex again. In my short time on this board, I have noticed a number of idiots post on this board. No offence to the sain people.

Look dude, giving us Dangerfield isn't enough compensation for us to take Mackay off your hands! The guy is a terribly inconsistent footballer. How he got the contract he did is beyond incomprehensible - it actually defied all logic! I've seen him play about three good games in total.
Okay, now I think you're alex again.
However, to take your comment at face value...Yes, you're right, there are a number of idiots. There are also many, many contributors who are insightful, footy wise, well connected, interestingly provocative, or sometimes just funny and entertaining. I find there's more than enough there to make butting heads with numbskulls an entirely optional activity.
You are not doing it right. It is supposed to be snorted up your nose, not the other way around....Lol I just snorted coke out through my nose seeing that

I live in Adelaide, so yes I am fully aware of what he has said in the media over the duration of his career. If Geelong had performed better than Adelaide this year, his fune wouldn't have changed. Perhaps going home is a more palatable reason for leaving than telling his team mates that he thinks they're not good enough.I'm not saying he doesn't love Moggs Creek. Just beware that what he says and what he does are often completely different thing.
Not sure if you have ever heard as it may have only been a SA media statement but he once stated as a matter of fact that he would only ever move from The crows for onfield success.
He will change his word to suit him not your or my clubs.
And it's his right also to choose where he plays his career. Cannot begrudge the fella for that.
Is that good for us though? Now they have 2 clubs to satisfyPoor Geelong...
