We will match and Geelong will have to come to the party or he wont end up at Geelong as about 4 clubs have already told Dangers management they will draft him given half a chance.

This wouldn't be even stated if clubs haven't started working on their bank balance. GWS I know for a fact have as has Brisbane. Live in denial all you like but I can assure you it's the very reason Geelong are running to get a deal done and potentially as reported trying to bring in a 3rd club.
