Gian. He hardly makes mistakes. Brad Green is more talented and tougher though, Gian just exceeds him in areas I prefer like kicking and descision making.

brad green for mine, does some pretty amazing things and is pretty much the only melb player to be consistantly great in a struggling side.

It's actually a very good poll.

I think Giansiracusa's best is better than Green's but we don't see it anywhere near enough. He goes missing too often. I'd lean towards Green because he is a more stable player.

Green is completely overrated. Not overly smart or quick. His kicking for goal isn't that great either

You have got to be joking? Green is deadly accurate in front of goals.

It may sound biased because I'm a Melbourne supporter but I'd have to say Green because he's more versatile.

For example if he were at Geelong, he would make a great target in the forward line, but if he were at Carlton he could be used in the back line or forward line with rotations in the middle.

He has numerous strings to his bow is my point.

Gia has shown glimpses of being outstanding. Green has been outstanding in his career. Gia has talent, but not consistant enough for me. a couple of years ago i thought he was taking the next step, but it never really happened.
Green is the better all round footballer. Good overhead, hard-ish at the ball, and kicks goals reguarley.

Interesting poll.

Gia looks to be a "late" bloomer where green has een pretty consistent throughout his career without ever really making that truely elite group.

I'd take Gia atm the moment but Green has or was better throughout his career.

I'd take Green due to his versatility personally. Granted I've seen far more of Green, but he seems to be harder at it and more consistent in his effect on matches.
But I really like Gia. One of my fav non-Melbourne players and it's great to watch him slip under the radar week in week out and rack up a few disposals and a few goals.

This must be some sort of joke?
B.Green is a dead eye in front of the sticks.

With that being said, i am a big fan of Gia, and he gets my vote.
Close call though.

Stats-wise they are pretty similar but Green has the edge: http://www.pro-stats.com.au/psw/web/compare_players?tid1=109&pid1=20166&tid2=115&pid2=20257

Green was superb last year in the rebounding defender role. I lost count of how many times he backs into packs to take big marks, yet for some reason there is a big misconception that he is 'soft'.

He gets alot of the pill and always uses it well. If Green played for a team currently in the top 8 he would be looked upon as one of the top 30 players in the AFL currently.
