Well Hurn did finish high in the "Rising Star" award (5th) last season, so I think that , if you don't rate him you are in the minority. He has been injured this year, which has been a blow to both him and the Eagles but he has shown enough in his 30 odd games to suggest that the Eagles made the correct decision in trading to get high enough to pick him. His developement (before injury) was certainly ahead of the other players that the Eagles drafted that year (McKinley, Spangher). Mc Kinley in particular has shown a bit this season while Hurn has been injured, but I expect that Hurn, if fully fit, will come back strong next year.
Basically the way i meant that is that i think there were reason he fell to 13 as he had deficencies. At pick 13 he was the logical selection and probably a good one, but IMO he was never a top 5-6 pick like suggested.




But I wouldnt hold your breath...
