As a teenager before being drafted him and his mates gave a bloke brain damage in a fight outside a pub. The bloke ended up unemployable due to the impact it had on his life. Our scouting was as good as our culture at the time and we overlooked his character to focus on his undoubted talent.
He pissed his chance away and focussed on being a full time douchebag.
Belongs behind bars.

There’s been a lot of discussion about that clip over the years on whether is was Gaz or not.
Can’t find the info at the moment, hopefully someone else knows where it is but it’s clearly a pisstake.

He had numerous suspensions through drinking and unsociable behaviour. One was in a hotel foyer 4am after a Sydney game. Ben Cousins whacked him apparently. Connors got a 12 week suspension by the club over the incident.
 
Best footballer I've ever played against. In the match in question he was on managed minutes in a pre-season practice game. Isn't a big guy, but was taking pack marks 3 deep. Ridiculously clean with the footy.

Real shame how his life and footy career panned out.

He was ranked pretty high in that mega 06 draft before some stories came out and a lot of clubs didnt want to touch him

I mean, He was suspended by the club twice for drunken incidents before he got sacked, so I mean, Bit of an idiot

The bit about how your coaching staff broke into the flat where he and Dusty were sleeping looks quite something in light of the Hawthorn allegations from around the same time.

Woodard seems to have even outpointed Alex Johnson for luck. Can't imagine what guys like this think of headcases like Conners.

Very talented but had some issues sadly. That’s why he disappeared so quickly. They also bought him back to the footy show after an absence and gave him another crack but only lasted an episode.
