Depends how Collingwood want to treat their underpaid players, I guessHas nothing to do with it as he is contracted
Its the exact same situation to Tom Barrass and the trade would be well and truly pointed out by Leppa

If a player is going then the only focus for the list manager is getting the best deal for your clubDepends how Collingwood want to treat their underpaid players, I guess

We treated Barrass very well. Could've kept him for less than he was being offered elsewhere, considering our lack of KPD stocks and as close as 30 minutes before the deadline, he said himself he thought he was staying but Hawthorn eventually came to the table. If a player is going then the only focus for the list manager is getting the best deal for your club
similar to the eagles last year how did they treat Barrass ?

We let him go for unders for a former club champion, IMO, but did the right thing by him in the end.

Being 31 and out of contract would be a bigger factor than Barrass having 3 years to run and 2 years younger when traded.Barrass was under paid after an agreement to get more
Eagles didnt honour that and he wanted to leave
You guys wanted 2 x 1st rounders but still got a great deal ( Phil just selected the wrong 1st rounder )
2 situations are extremely comparable and value's should be the same in a trade even though Cameron is a more valuable asset than Barrass and doesnt have back issue's
Pies would be well in their rights to demand the Hawks 1st rounder plus a 2nd
When you touch up a playerBeing 31 and out of contract would be a bigger factor than Barrass having 3 years to run and 2 years younger when traded.
Pies can demand whatever they want, depends on what their own trade and draft strategy is as to what that demand is.
Ask for too much and WCE walk away, which may stuff other trades they are into and Cameron walks for nothing next year anyway.
Or they could jettison some other players currently rumoured to be unhappy with their contracts, bump Cameron and he stays.
Who knows really?
Err, no you don't. It's called a 'negotiation' for a reason. When you touch up a player
You pay the asking price and i think you know that
LOlErr, no you don't. It's called a 'negotiation' for a reason.
Judging off today's game, we should be going for Marshall and not Camern. He's cheaper and already reached Cameron's stats from last night and the game's only halfway through.
He'd be cheaper, after all.
LOl
Marshall is up against who in as you say todays game ?
Negotiation works with uncontracted players - With contracted player the players club tell you what they want and its upto the eagles to satisfy them.
Get ready for bigger melts than the Baker trade
Someone about as good as Darcy Fort.
Ok, so why didn't WCE demand a top 5 pick for Barrass and not budge last year then?
According to you, it's up to the club making the play to pay the asking price for contracted players, no questions asked.
Ahh, there it is. Your weird obsession with WCE failing continues.
Eagles have about 4 young rucks on their list but 3 are delist material with only Archer Reid looking like a good prospect
Cameron would be good for them while Reid develops into that role. Ideally they should find a 25/26 year old Ruck but they want an A grade ruck to help their young mids from getting smashed every week
- Teakle as good as fort
premiership player fort you mean ?
- Eagles wanted the pick and didnt want Barrass so you were a very willing seller not sure why you are even arguing a point that you already know is true.
- Your opinion about my supposed obsession is in your mind because i point out the truth and it doesnt suit what you like to hear.
I actually agree with you regarding the eagles trading for Cameron and think its the wrong moveLook i have a lot to do with Inverloch junior footy where archer came from and while he's a lovely kid i wouldn't call him an outstanding prospect.
As for the rest i agree their rucks are crap but they would be better doing a moneyball trade on a mid 20s ruck who will possibly be there when they play finals again.
Cameron is a complete waste of a 1st round pick given where their list is at.
Play the post not the manYou just spew random shit and troll every thread WCE related.
It's very tiring and boring.
"Play the post, not the man" he says, when every second post is about how upset WCE fans should be about literally everything WCE does, even in threads with nothing to do with WCE.Play the post not the man
so far you are struggling and moving goal posts every time you are corrected
maybe you have a nap and come back refreshed

The hypocrisy's to be expected, I suppose.
How about talking about the subject at hand, instead of constantly referring to the fans, which have nothing to do with it?No Hypocrisy mate even though you might like it to be

Plenty of other people manage to give 'honest' opinions without being an obnoxious douche. No just eagles supporters and only due to honest opinions
e.g Cameron for points trade its just ridiculous
anyway we are all entitled to our opinions![]()
