atm he is beating up on the non private school kids, he is good though and might rise?
I don't think Kynan Brown, Jagg Smith, Tom Gross, Will Lorenz, Philactides, and Darcy Wilson are bad competition. He's played as well as he could regardless of competition. Sure, he fits into Eastern's game plan well and benefits from Watson not being there but it's one thing to fill into a role and another to average 30 touches a game since coming back into the team.

Kayne Rutley another small forward from Calder looks a very likely type.

Ok so there might be a few surprises, I will name my top 30 and a few others outside the top 30 I think will likely get drafted, mostly from the u16s but also from CTL for a few of them...

Early top 30 for 2025 draft based on u16s and CTL form
1. Dyson Sharp 188cm Central Dist
2. Oliver Greeves 190cm Eastern
3. Blake Kelly 180cm Swan Dist
4. Lachlan Dovaston 175cm Eastern
5. Blake Oudshoorn-Bennier 182cm Nth Adel
6. Louis Emmett 198cm Oakleigh
7. Marcus Cassidy 186cm Est Perth
8. Archie Ludowyke 193cm Sandringham
9. Jack Dalton 176cm Sandringham
10. Noah Roberts-Thompson 180cm Sturt
11. Tairon Ah-Mu 199cm Dandenong

Mentions: Willem Duursma 189cm Gipps, Taj Longmuir 179cm Sth Frem, Thomas Burton 177cm Western, Thomas McGuane 176cm Western, Sam Allen 181cm Oakleigh, Tyson Gresham 170cm Northern, Hunter Wright 186cm Bendigo, Jesse Nye 172cm Sth Adel, Lachlan Sands 179cm WWT, Luke Candy 183cm Glenlg, Sam Cumming 186cm Nth Adel, Josh Reichelt 180cm Central Dist, Louis Kellaway 182cm Sturt, Harley Baker 186cm Sturt, Will York 172cm Peel, Darcy Montgomery 180cm Subiaco, Jai Murray(gcs), Beau Addinsall(gcs), Daniel Annabel(bris), Charlie Hewitt(bris) didn't like anyone from syd, gws, tassie or NT, 2 QLD teams the only teams in div 2 playing good footy from my pov...

Sam Grij Oakleigh mid/wing would be in the list if he played in the champs.

Vic Metro won with WA coming runners up, with SA and Vic Country competitive
Brisbane dominated div 2 with GCS A coming runners up then the other 4 teams(GWS, Tas, Syd and NT)
Come on mate, no Kalani White? Surely he's going to be up there as an early pick? He'll be over 200cm, athletic forward with a beautiful kicking action and good agility. He made the Under 16 AA team and has great pedigree. I would've thought he'd be closing in on top 3 to be honest but you don't have in in the top 30 or even the 20 mentions.

That surprises me as there were 3 top tier rucks in div 1, but they give the AA to a div 2 father son? Louis Emmett, Tairon Ah-Mu and Kayle Gerryn(2024 draft WA) got robbed, I watched 1 game each instead of all 3 like div 1 teams as it was hard watching the obvious lack of depth within the teams, maybe I missed a prospect or 2, but this is a very early top 30, it's just meant to be somewhat of a guide and will change over the next 2 1/2 years...

the u16 AA team was a turn up, it had 6 x GC Suns in it who came second in Div 2.

Davo-27 CJ’s younger brother Tew Jiath was mentioned in an AFL.com.au article today as a big riser in this years draft with plenty of clubs showing big interest as of late and showing lots of excitement regarding his athletic potential. He has played some good games for Gippsland as of late. What are your thoughts on Tew as a draft prospect?

I have not seen him play as I have been busy catching up on rewatching u18s champs games and doing work on u16s champs, sorry

Not a talls kind of draft so far then?
I recently found out that I missed out on 2 talls, both playing at the u16s champs, both would be likely in that top 50 group of 2024

Kayle Gerryn - ruck from WA, looks a great prospect, but seeing as he dominated as an overeager I would hold him back to a 2nd rounder type quality, fantastic mark, mobile and seemed to be a good hit to adv

Charlie Hewitt - 198cm KPF from Bris A, more a mid draft onwards type at this stage, again good strong contested mark, potential

Just finished watching the Bris A win over GCS A, the players I already mentioned previously all stood out again, but I have a few more players from Brisbane A I wanted to mention as likely prospects

(Dylan Patterson, Zeke Uwland, Jai Murray and Beau Addinsall) GCS A
(Raphael Geesu, Jack Harrison, Daniel Annabel and Charlie Hewitt) Bris A

Lachlan Chambers 192cm forw Bris A 2025 draft
Jordan Chambers 182cm def Bris A 2025 draft
Jack Slater 184cm def/mid Bris A 2025 draft
Matthew Owen hbf/wing/hff 172cm Bris A 2026 draft

Brisbane might have 6 draftable options if they all develop as expected in 2025, they have Ashcroft, Marshall and Hewitt for 2024 and at least 1 for 2026, seems like they are going to have a rich vein of talent coming through in the near future.

The Qld zones are becoming strong.

Watched 2 of the 3 Gold Coast games and it seemed the 27 Kalani White played in defence, took a few loose intercept marks, looks OK, but not AA worthy, he could've smashed a weak team in the 3rd game?, but he wasn't very influential in either 2 games I saw, Brisbane game was by far the best opponent and I think he took 3 marks in defence and not much else, I don't even think he rucked much at all... so how the fk is he AA? Odd call imo, maybe it's based on pedigree? and hoping he is as good as his pick 1 father?

Way too many div 2 kids in the AA imo

White tracking to be a top 10 if not 5
