Im tipping a Draw. Lets face it, theres been that many close games we must be ready to crack one.

I hope Macca in his 100th game gets a gig on Neitz coz we need to stop him but Rutten may man up on him.

Thompson must have inside knowldege as to how the middle lines up etc. He having a great year by the way.

It's going to be hard watching Thommo play this week, hopefully this will be his one of only two ordinary games he plays this year, I defintiley won't be booing him though.

Also if fit Jamar for Holland, Whelan for Rigoni and Read for Armstrong.

I wouldn't replace a small with a tall this week because it's a night game and I think having a backup ruck is more important than another tall down forward.

How is the Melbourne injury situation ? I can think of Cam Bruce but that's about it.

For us, Skipworth will more than likely miss, Goodwin missed some training this week but should play. I'd expect Bode to come in as a midfielder / small forward. Other than that, we're almost at full strength.

Yze has been leaving training early apparently most nights this season. You gotta know he isn't fit when C.Bruce is injured and Yze doesn't slot into the midfield. Gurrea did a job on Yze in preseason and has flared up a bit of past injuries.

Secondly, we will win this game if we drop holland. I see daniher has selected paul johnson this week. its the 2nd smartest thing he has done all year. his smartest has been playing daniel bell each game.

Does daniher realise the trouble read and moloney could cause a lot of players? These guys could intimidate sides very easily with their pestiness.

Yeah I miss seeing Ooze in the midfield, he seems to be coping alright up forward I suppose. God I cant wait for Brucey to come back

Fergy's gonna have to play well on Welsh, I remember when we went to AAMI last year he shat all over us.
Yeah, even though Dutchy kicked 5, its never convincing. I'd love to see Johnson come into the side - White needs/deserves a backup that can actually ruck. He's pretty handy in the forward line too, he played pretty well against the Crows during pre-season too.

Read wont play, i rate him no chance of playing simply because he didnt even play for Sandy last weekend. Sure a Read and Moloney Duo would be quite scary for the opposition (has it happened yet?)

Definetely needing some class back in the middle Yze, Bruce and Green to be back in form would really help our situation.

holland is in the best form in his 2 years at melbourne. killed em in the VFL and produced it at AFL level last year. crows dun have great tall backs so lets stretch em with Holland who while a ******** kick at goal can still take a good grab. i dun wanna put all this pressure on Johnson in his first game for us. if Jamar aint ready then perhaps Johnson for pinch hitting in the ruck but thats all

Its good to see ex-eagle Paul Johnson given a chance to play tomorrow night... he never had the oppurtunity to break into the team often enough to prove himself... Hopefully he can play wel lon debut for the Dees and continue to stake a claim for himself

Hollands kicking looks horrible but is much improved. After his first two kicks (shins!) last week he kicked well.

Ins this week: Sylvia, Heffernan, Williams and P.Johnson.
Outs: Motlop and Wheatley injured and Rigoni and Armstrong dropped.

Would have rather kept either Arma or Rigoni than Williams. They at least hit the target 1 out of 2 rather than Williams 1 in 10. Good luck to Colin Sylvia this week. Hope he gets worked into the midfield rotation and can cement his spot.

I think Johnson will be used to rest White at the end of quarters. Daniher (rightly) is reluctant to throw kids straight into it too early in their career. Go you Dees!
