Strike Missions are optional anyway; to unlock new areas, you ought to do Story Missions.

Still, I know it hurts, but it's worth it to have patience. Maybe try playing in the afternoon more because some here have trouble playing in the morning.

For those who are high level, Xur the Merchant has shown up in the Hall of Guardians (he appears every friday to sunday) & he sells Exotic (Yellow) Items for Strange Coins.

Currently selling one piece of armor for each class for 13 strange coins.

Repetitive? Sure. Hollow? Absolutely not.
Also, as with all MMOs, there's a long growing process. Destiny might be a little bare bones now, but down the track, it's going to be enormous.

Hollow the key word in Gamespot's review as well... Hmm.

Problem with MMOs and growing processes is the fact that.... Most MMOs never get a chance to grow.
They die long before that.

Really enjoying the game. hit level 22 yet to get any purples though. Loving the loot grind and i think they have laid a really strong foundation to build on. They have basically opened up the lore for each race, laid some breadcrumbs for each planet. Whilst i do agree that it would suck to have to pay for everything that is added i think that they are building the universe first. People forget that halo 1 didnt have a very fleshed out story at all. its only when you look back at the trilogy that you realize the expansive universe they created. im hoping this is what will happen with destiny.

Its also not normal that a game has a great story and good multiplayer, its normally one or the other. They did it with halo however the campaign was something they have said they wished they could have added to and supported like they supported the multiplayer. I think this will be the aim with this game, lots of content for all different types of players. overall a good start and well worth a purchase price of 70 bucks.

I've been in Melb the last 24 hours so I just got around to approving a heap of invites.

Those on Xbox when I go to accept the "Set as my Xbox Clan" invite it comes up with this error "There was an error reviewing the invitation (657)" Google shows up nothing in terms of answers so I don't know why it's not working.


Edit: Also the way they have set up this group/clan system is absolute tripe. Like why the **** would we have to join a group then join a clan. Then you have to play the game first before it accepts. Just let it be people join the clan and that's it. I might even make it public, maybe that'll help with all the invite issues.


edit2: Ok so to join the Group I've made it so the admin still has to approve but to join the clan (once you're in the group) it's open to everyone without admin approval. Hopefully this helps in letting everyone join the clan and have bigfooty show up under their name.

I was in a fireteam and we were trying to fix a communication issue, so I got kicked whilst collecting my reward and I don't think I got anything. Tried to go back and I couldn't collect anything.

Loving this game. Hit level 20 so just pottering around doing patrols, bounties and strikes and working up my vangaurd rep. Love the spontaneous tower raves. Only takes a couple to start dancing then it's on.

Anyone else having connection issues as of about 30mins ago? Can get on but randomly dropping out, power cycled everything then couldn't even login. Resetting the PS4 seemed to get me back in after a few goes. My internet and PSN connection is fine, only Destiny.
