I don't doubt the club is trying, but Robertson has made it clear he is open to moving to Victoria, where he will find at least one middle of the pack suitor, probably more (think Carlton, Melbourne, Essendon).

All trump the prospect of starting fresh at rock bottom - especially when your main card to play is 'I couldn't crack the best but I can probably play for the rest'.

But surely he gets to Weagles this time around. Let’s hope they want him. Didn’t work hard enough for Fagan to select him. Not great by foot and prone to panic a little but give him time I think he could be a good player. Undersized for inside mid, not skilled enough cor outside role. Needs to hit the gym hard and work on his inside craft.

I think this makes 19 more palatable for everyone in a trade - 19 and pick trades for Starce and Dev seems more even for everyone and hopefully done relatively easily.
