(I remember reading this one somewhere so take it with a grain of salt...)

Brent Harvey has played 294 games since the 1999 Grand Final.
This is an all-time record for games played since a player's last premiership.

Did I read somewhere recently that Dustin Fletcher will go down in histroy as the only player to play against Fitzroy and at least one of the two expansion teams in GC and/or GWS. Might have played against all 3?

Mind you, he's that old he probably played against University as well....

I say that as a compliment. His longeivity is remarkable. Not to mention a great player.

Fletcher has a long list of unique achievements.

Played against Fitztroy, Brisbane Bears, Gold Coast and GWS.
Played in a 15, 16, 17 and 18 team competition.
Played with Tim and Jobe Watson plus Anthony, Darcy and Joe Daniher.
Played against F/S Abletts, Vineys, Brennans, Wallis', Liberatores...
Introduced a whole generation to Inspector Gadget.

That Essendon staff voted 4-2 to delist James Hird in 1991, but Sheedy wanted to keep him.

Arguable who was in the right given the current situation.

Had Dream Team been around in 1992, in Rd 7 Jason Dunstall would have registered a score of 243.

Off topic slightly, but apparently Andy Krakouer's effort in the 2010 WAFL grand final would've netted him 290 SC* points.

I stand corrected.

I don't play SC, but from memory his score was so high because pretty much everything he did on the day was statistically good. Clearances, effective kicks, contested possessions etc. However they work it out, everything he touched turned to gold.

Incredible game to watch, Krakouer totally dominant and a 16 year old Stephen Coniglio booting 4 goals to get the mighty Swans over the line.
