And listen, everything you have mentioned above I absolutely do not disagree with and certain elements such as " I don't want to waste my money " " I must get off the couch and make the most of this diet " would be spot on. I also feel that from my research and knowledge ( albeit limited to yourself by the sounds of it ) it does have a lot of nutritional benefits. My body has always reacted to changes pretty well and I would know within a month whether I am getting benefits from it, I certainly wouldn't be looking at it like a Herbal life program.
Currently I have been doing 16 hour daily intermittent fasts, from 8pm-12pm, it has been good and I have lost a little around the waist but not enough to scream KEEP GOING.
I love food, thats my biggest issue, I love having a nice solid breaky on the weekend whether that be porridge and dry fruit or some fruit toast and jam and then eat some burgers saturday night. I need to sacrifice more on the weekend and I think I will get more gains, I barely drink which is a bonus but if I do have an event and drink I tend to dabble in the prince charles to lol.
Anyway, I'm still tossing whether to give it a good for a few months, I've been told as I am really quite healthy as it is I wouldn't need to do the cleanse so that is a positive.
Woolworths sells one in the cooking oil section.
500ml glass bottle for $12.99
90% mct oil, I've been using for over a year since discovering it.
Can anyone recommend MCT oil that isn't the BP one?

So the inhalation of smoke has gone from my body and ive been trying to change the diet.
jesus christ im finding it harder to stop eating certain foods than to stop smoking.
Biscuits and potato chips are a massive weakness
also im finding it hard to break the habit of eating a big meal instead of a few smaller ones
stupid food
I know how you feel, I used to be a smoker and I used to eat snack type junk food all the time. It's tough to quit each alone let alone together. So the inhalation of smoke has gone from my body and ive been trying to change the diet.

yep, i have been on a moderate LCHF diet for a few months now and feel really fit and healthy.I know how you feel, I used to be a smoker and I used to eat snack type junk food all the time. It's tough to quit each alone let alone together.
Regarding the junk food it's nigh on impossible to do cold turkey, so start looking around for healthier alternatives. Slightly healthier alternatives like salted nuts, popcorn, 80% dark chocolate as a start but then work off these and onto stuff like apples and low carb protein bars.
That's pretty much what I did and I haven't bought a packet of chips/biscuits/chocolate bar for 3 or 4 years. I don't really snack on anything these days to be honest except the odd protein bar
I think caffeine can be beneficial, just not in the form of sugary coffee or full sugar energy drinks!Chips are the weakness.
But ive been good all week and its shopping day tomorrow.
Stocking up on almonds and cashews
Been doing serious reading on the stronglift 5x5 thing
I'm at 80kg but have a pot gut
So it's time to do something
I've quit the cigs now for 6 months, stopped the caffine, and feel much much better
I'm slowly getting into a routine
Tried adding a little honey to green tea? I have one a day.I drink a fair bit of tea, English breakfast, cant do green tea
I recommend X50 green tea, because it doesn't taste like green tea but you still get all the benefitsCheers for nut advice
Caffine was because I actually went off the taste of hot coffee.
I'll have a home made ice coffee about once a fortnight or so.

Any tips on how to get rid of this pest of a little guts I've got going!! I'm only 72kg or so and in pretty good knick but just a little bit of a pot belly has crept up on me the past few months. I'm pretty good with my diet, stay away from the soft drinks and shitty foods for the most part and only have half a teaspoon of sugar in the old coffee etc etc, I enjoy a beer on the weekend but yeah, confused how I have this when I look after myself reasonably well.
Got the same mate
8w kilo and a pot belly
Working on it going with diet and exercise
Yeah, it's odd. Going to start to work the standard cheese, full fat mayo etc etc out of the diet to see if it helps
Calling bullshit on thisIf you really want to get rid of that pot belly you don't have room for these type of foods in your diet full stop. Don't opt for reduced fat foods they are full of sugar.
