Maybe Hong Kong are secretly plotting to match fix their way to the top?I think of all HK's silly results, them going 6-0 against Ireland has been the most annoying.

Surprised T&T are below Nepal and HK.
Q: I don't think Hong Kong and Nepal are that good...
A: Neither do I. Not even close. The sim seems to be having a bit of fun with them. I particularly don't understand Hong Kong's results, as their individual stats are not that good. It's like every match it pulls out some new ridiculous result. Both are strongly benefiting from the bowling bias the sim has for these teams.
They have Rampaul, Gabriel, Bravo and Pollard, all of whom are more than solid bowling options but yeah, need a good spinner. Their batting is the best of the lot though IMO.I do think T&T are the weakest of the four sides, although their best side doesn't suit their home pitch anywhere near as much as the other teams, as they only have one spinner who isn't at the same level as the others. Also Guyana is benefiting from Chanderpaul's long-term average being so high, even though his current output isn't quite at that level.
Crazy that Barbados didn't have a bowler in the top 20.

From the stats derived from the experiment, who would be your West Indies test XI?
Yeah, that's a fair call, they are good points.Don't know. Too many players whose willingness to play Tests is questionable. I would, however, advise that they should consider playing two spinners more often. Every team has at least one spinner with a pretty good record, admittedly in part due to the pitches on offer. Furthermore, when they pick their spinners, they have to stick with them. All these spinners get a few Tests, and then get dropped for the next in line. No wonder they picked Warrican after less than 20 FC games.

Based on your stats provided, here is my best West Indies XI, all but one in the current team.
1. K. Brathwaite (vc)
2. C. Gayle (c)
3. K. Edwards
4. A. Fudadin
5. S. Chanderpaul
6. D.J. Bravo
7. S. Dowrich (wk)
8. A. Russell
9. D. Bishoo
10. S. Cottrell
11. V. Permaul
I rate Gayle to be a positive influence and he can lead from the front opening the batting. The thing about stats, as this tournament has shown, is that they need to be only part of the question of selection. For example, I would question whether it's worth having Gayle in the team, purely for the influence he can have on the younger players, while at the same time I would encourage having Chanderpaul in there even though he'd probably average closer to 30 than 50 these days, at best.
Fudadin, too, is probably not amongst their best, especially as that would mean leaving out Darren Bravo.
Some other potential choices (I would recommend adding around 5 to the batting averages and 10 to the bowling averages to get a potentially more realistic indicator of ability):
Batsmen
CS Baugh+ (Jam): 3879 runs @ 28.11
J Blackwood (Jam): 4178 runs @ 27.31
N Deonarine (Guy): 4635 runs @ 31.75, 66 wickets @ 27.58
M Samuels (Jam): 4165 runs @ 28.14, 25 wickets @ 37.84
DM Bravo (T&T): 4450 runs @ 27.30

DE Bernard (Jam) 2708 runs @ 19.07, 230 wickets @ 22.05
CR Brathwaite (Bar): 3974 runs @ 27.03, 111 wickets @ 14.07
JO Holder (Bar): 2447 runs @ 17.73, 223 wickets @ 19.79
KA Pollard (T&T): 4340 runs @ 30.78, 17 wickets @ 17.24
Fast bowlers
FH Edwards (Bar): 367 wickets @ 21.74
ST Gabriel (T&T): 283 wickets @ 21.38
R Rampaul (T&T): 390 wickets @ 23.29
KAJ Roach (Bar): 363 wickets @ 21.71
JE Taylor (Jam): 315 wickets @ 21.03
Spinners
SJ Benn (Bar): 295 wickets @ 19.83
NO Miller (Jam): 195 wickets @ 15.81
AR Nurse (Bar): 2099 runs @ 16.53, 298 wickets @ 14.15
Imran Khan (T&T): 2173 runs @ 16.98, 433 wickets @ 15.05
Also remember that this experiment does not include the Leeward and Windward Islands, which make up the other two boards of the Windies. This leaves out players like Kieran Powell, Darren Sammy, Shane Shillingford, Gavin Tonge and Devon Smith.
