Didn't watch the game?
The uninformed part was about Daicos being spoon fed possessions.

Seems we've learnt a bit about the injuries he was dealing with late in the season after the season ended.

And it was 5 out of 7 games Collingwood had lost leading into the finals, or 6 of 16....

A much worse scenario is going the Essendon route and leaving a group of 20 year old kids exposed to 10 goal beltings most weeks, and surround them with me first senior players who don't want to be there.
He doesn’t barrack for Essendon, he's a Saint, a banned user up to his 59th burner account 😆

Don't feed the troll 🤨

He was the highest rated player by a mile, you're dribbling rubbish
That's what you cop when you're emerging as the GOAT.

If you don't win EVERY game off your own boot, you're underperforming.

But how about those 8 games we lost from our last 10 home and away games leading into finals?

He is so comfortably the best current player that it's ridiculous to suggest otherwise

Oppo players should be queuing up to join Collingwood to play with Daics

I didn't say he was spoon fed. Fact is though they feed him the ball a lot. More than any other player on the team.

Sick of hearing this. Watched the prelim final back, when it got hot in the kitchen he had no effect as he wasn't able to be fed the ball consistently. Best outside player/runner in the comp. Best footballer..... no
Highest rated player on the ground, his first half was excellent, Also played with a broken foot and a knee injury that has put him out of training until the new year

Don't need to

Not saying he was BOG, I wouldn't have given him votes, but he was the highest rated

Brisbane are shaping as a dynasty team and they overwhelmed us
They did as they do to most teams. I didn't realise he was injured which would explain a bit. If i am trying to win a game tomorrow, I'd still take Bont, Cameron, Ashcroft, Neale off the top of my head over him

Good for you 👍

Any sane person is taking Daics, it's like having an extra player out there

Pies too well coached and even across the board to not feature pointy end finals

The question mark for me is whether the form post June last season indicated something more troubling longer term or was simply a temporary slump that was corrected September with a good qualifying final win and solid showing v the eventual premier in the prelim
The dropped games after June were when we played 6 finals teams in quick succession without Bobby Hill, Howe, McCreery and a banged up Mihocek. When we got a few back for the actual finals we played a lot more like ourselves.

Go back and watch the 2nd half.

Go back and watch the last 8 minutes. With 8 left on the clock we were 11 points behind, Elliot then gets the non decision that was paid all year just not on that occasion. He kicks that with 8 mins to go we'd be 5 points behind with all the momentum. Didn't get the kick....Lions run on and kick 3 more. They did something similar to the Cats a week later, won like a good side (which they are)

As for the spoon fed Daicos, 27 possies 6 Clearances, 11 Contested possessions (second on the ground to McCluggage) and played the game with a PCL injury. Hmmmm....pretty poor effort for the champ.

As i said, when he wasn't fed the ball consistently in the 2nd half he had no impact. The injury wouldn't have helped no doubt.

Bont is 30 and the others are 32, according to the logic in this thread they are done.

So you obviously should take Naicos.

Naicos had 10 disposals in Q3 for us, only two other Pies had more than 4 touches for the quarter - Elliott (6) and IQ (5).

Weird to single out the player who was rated as best on ground by CD player ratings for not pulling their weight.
