It's all irrelevant now, but Emu would be worth 1st rd + 2nd rd picks. Even then I'd prefer to hang on to him.

not only are you totally over valueing him, but not even then are you content with already making yourself look foolish enough that you chime in with the last line making it obvious to everyone that you have no idea.

A young gun (Emu) is worth more than a potential young gun (pick 1). Thus pick 1 and 2 is appropriate.

If you don't rate Bower as a young gun, that's just a difference of opinion.

The above hypothetically discounts any leverage the Dockers may hold due to factors such as PSD, Go Home Factor, contract status etc.

He is a hack - who would want him.

Moo casually reads ODN's post

Oh he has re-signed ;)
Amazing how experts like Parko and Co marvel at how he has come on.
Happy the good WA lad has resigned.

Watts, Naitatnui, Hill, Pears, Zeibell, Hartlett, Beams, Rich basically every first rounder would be worth more thaqn Bower except Yarran.

Allof these players will be better than Bower and thus disoprove your evaluation that he'd be worth more thasn a first rounder.

Move along

As a carlton supporter its a tricky one, I rate him as having a great future for us. Its one of those things where he is more valuble to us than he would be to another side. I can imagine us putting a high price on him, higher than any side will pay.

This is not so true, he loves it over east, is preferable to stay at carlton, however he is insulted by the amount that carlton offered, has already had essendon in his ear, he is back in WA regularly and if the dockers offered the right money and carlton didnt come to the party, he would consider a move back home.... FACT!..... he is upset that every player has been offered a reasonable pay rise except him, he is also upset that a guy like warnock can be given the world while he cant be rewarded for having a great season..... this one is far from over, there is every possibility that he could walk

Sorry mate, you were wrong. I was right, he was never going anywhere, management was just seeking some extra coin as every manager should.

Helps when my source is his housemate. ;)

You were right though, Steve's a ripper bloke and very funny.
