Favourite beach of Harold Holt?

Maybe not so much...

Cheviot Beach

The submarine is missing from that image.

Did you know the timber benches are still there, up from the sand, which were built to seat the dignatories who attended Harold's memorial? Pretty weird. Its a heritage site.

Not sure about that Lefty.
I grew up in Mornington and spent pretty much every day of school holidays at Mills Beach.
I don't remember it being anything like what you have described.
Grew up not far from Inverloch, and except for a few months of the year, that is what they are. Wet cold wind swept.
Oh your not seriously saying vic beaches come anywhere near the ones in south east queensland are you

Inverloch is exposed to the winds and weather coming over Bass Straight. Very different once your in the bay.
I'm not comparing the two but there are some wonderful beaches in the bay.
The example I gave of Mills Beach is one.

Most vic beaches are not in the bay, they are open to the elements, but one can say that up here too. Only difference is 90% of the time they are wonderful and in vic only in summer. My brother lives down there still, and lives near the water.
Look that beach looks nice and l love a good beach. But nah to cold

Not really :straining: but I am certain M G is on my side :D

Run out

7 wickets required by Australia.

Dumb dumb dumb
