My best was 14.6 and im pretty much the fittest person i know, your an absolute freak if you pass 15+
I dont think he there is he. Doesnt he have OP at the moment
I was taking the mickey with the 15.8 crap
Havent done the beep test in 8 years and would hazard a guess to say I'd struggle to get over 12![]()
And I can run the 100m in under 10 seconds![]()
Yes I think your right. Same with Cotchin who has a broken leg. They would probably be up there.
Also Kreuzer was supposed to have a very decent beep test result. High 14s or something. Excellent for a ruckman prospect.![]()
Like I said.. unless your in a national sports team or a marathon runner, your not going to get over 15. The most fit guys in my school would get just over 13 and some of them are currently listed in the AFL. So unless your a professional sportsman, its not going to happen.
I've never seen anyone go over 15.. so i assume its insane. I wonder what the world record is.
15 is brilliant...
To get over 14 you have to be extremely, extremely fit, and pretty quick too. You'd either have to train pretty much every day or be a Kenyan.
Remember, they've have a day of testing before the Beep today, so they wont exactly be 'refreshed'. Its not so much what Cale run, but what he ran in comparison the others. Guys like Palmer have been clocked at running 20km in WAFL games and he ran a 14.6.
Guys on here saying they can run over 16 are quite obviously delirious, and if your not, go and sign up with your local athletics club.
15 is indeed insanity....I would be very suspect of anyone here claiming anything over 14 unless they regularly undertake endurance sports in which case they would be out training and not posting on the internet.
Over 16 you are looking at someone who is at the upper end of performers world-wide. The creme-de-la-creme. Over 16 you are likely to be a world record holder or someone very close to it.
One of my good mates does Warriors (which is like for the young gifted AFL footballers, it's the step ladder to enter the WAFL), and he doesn't look really that in shape, but last year when he did the beep test he got 14.3. He would've been 15 at the time?
I wouldn't go claiming that yet, I heard 3 other guys beat him. Maybe there was something wrong with the measurements.Dave Gourdis holds the verticle leap record as of today, beating Croads 83cm with 86cm. Might push Brennans record as well, does anyone know when the running vert leap is scheduled for this year?
Haha, not quite. According to the site I looked at earlier, several members of the Australian hockey team have beep test results around 17. So whoever has this word record....
He could still look to be in bad shape and still be fit as hell or have a strong cardio endurance I guess.
Which one? I did the Shepparton one last year. But now in Canada so I am not sure what I will do, maybe an ultra marathon if I can find one before the snow starts.
Apparently Lance Armstrong is one of the very few people in the world to complete the test. I think it goes up to level 21!!

(I never even knew that it ended at some point. Thought it just kept going until there is no one left!)

Craig Mottram's PB is around 10:50 or something, blazing quick.

Queenslanders always do well on the beep test for some reason.

Gaertner 94, Collier 88 and Dangerfield 87.
Running verticals were held at same time.
