Draft - is it live?

Does anyone know whether the daft is live this year on TV?

Or has Channel 10 screwed us again, because it has the rights to the programme.

Fox Footy has highlights I think, but by then it is all over.

I cannot believe that on a Saturday, that the Draft would not rate better, in the Southern States anyway, than an Elvis Presley Film or some other B grade action movie.

By the way does anyone know when it will start?

Imagine if you were a Richmond or Hawthrn supporter this year.

its bad enough being an Adelaide supporter and hoping we will pick up a real class act with our first pick.

Agreed....I can't wait for footy to return but I'm not looking forward to the now customary cringe as Silvagni stutters his way through a broadcast. The commentary on 9 and 10 is embarrasing.

It's just like a footy game...........I'd be yelling and screaming at those 3 basket case sides if they picked up the players we wanted !!!!
I always watched it when it was on 7.................Sandy Roberts was a worry but still !!

I think its a terrible decision my 10 not to show the draft. Its on at 10am saturday morning, who cares about ratings at that time anyway? who is watching TV at that time of the morning? Kids watching cartoons and people with hangovers thats about it.
Channels 9 and 10 decided to make a huge push for the rights and they got them, now how about living up to all the hype, so far it has been a disapointment.
Who cares if they lose some ratings they have a service to the footballing community to show it.

Give it back to 7 I say this is bull********.

for then second year in a row im going to miss the draft! even if it is only on the computer, last year i had a driving lesson and this year i have to coach my cricket team! thankfully Scottroo is going to be smsing me updates of our picks.
