Butcher is a cross between Westhoff and Gill.....hell exciting.

So Williams has a call on who is selected ala Ayres, but Neil Craig truly delegates to Rendell, having little to no say in who is selected. Interesting that.

Williams may have been told by his recruiting staff that Butcher will almost certianly be there and they'll pick him if he is.

that was a condition of Rendell taking the job, its a new thing for us too.

Just for the record, I rate Butcher and pretty much all the talls in this draft very low. Rendell's genius has become clearer haha. I especially love the fact it looks like Carlton, Melbourne and Port will most likely reach for some talls, to our advantage.

I'm just going to take this opportunity to relate how dumb i think the VFL is under Demetriou.

In a few minutes, the first name read out to the footballing public, will be the #10 draft pick. Not the #1 pick.
