Don't think there are 3.Who are the top 3 ruck prospects in this draft
If you put Wigg in there, surely McGovern is there as well? The leading candidates are Lowden, Grigg, Lyons, Thompson (ret), Kelly, van Berlo (ret), Shaw, Otten, Mackay, Atkins, Cheney, Dear and then maybe Wigg.

Wouldn't want any of them
Hopefully doesn't get cut, needs to brush up on a few things though, apart from that he could have a permanent role in the side.Wigg's coming along nicely.
...Now has a full head of hair.
Agree with this approach. Why bother pissing off potential trading partners when we don't need to, particularly those lower on the ladder than us.We know all northern clubs have structured themselves to be able to afford to get these players at worst case scenario, If I was Noble, I would only bid on one of the GWS kids at 9 to make sure GWS lose their pick 10 for an academy kid. If we had second round picks then you would bid for all of them to improve your second round pick, but we don't so we will leave that to the other clubs.

As long as Sydney pay up for mills and GWS have to use pick 10 for an academy player, we should steer clear.
You are either a deadshit, a troll or both. How you can be making a call on Wigg at this stage is beyond me. The majority of draftees don't play a game in their first year on an afl list.
We've already given up our 2nd round pick for next yearFor possibly the 500th time this off season, we're not going to delist contracted players, so stop suggesting it. Here are the candidates
Struck out the only ones that are 100% not a part of this conversation, barring utter catastrophe. Everyone else there is at risk, some more than others - Harry Dear f.ex is now our third choice, first backup KPF with Jpod gone, and the only alternative with McGovern more a third up type. I'd expect us not to draft tall again until next year, but even if we do go tall this year he's probably safe for another 2 year deal, though not necessarily so if he has a dog of a year in the SANFL.
Anyone in the category "half back flanker slash outside mid" by virtue of pace or kick is also on notice thanks to trade week, that includes Grigg, Wigg and Jaensch. It would also include Mackay if not for that idiotic contract we're now stuck with, so the only thing at risk for him is spending the last 3 years of that deal in the SANFL.
If we draft a new inside mid with 9 or 13 this year, it's essentially the end of Lyons at Adelaide, even though I do expect Thompson to retire, and van Berlo to be 50/50 at this stage. If the next draft class pans out as predicted I can see us making as many as four live picks, perhaps even five if we trade well.
Huh?Please God, let us get Milera you stinking arsewipe
Fukk that. Piss them off. South Aussies that go to Brisbane end up ******ed and go to ******ed places.

If you deny brisbane of a kid you are just giving that kid to another club that won't be us. Bidding on academy kids at 13 could help port or geelong draft a gun. No point hurting brisbane just to help another club higher up the ladder.

I know, but I think we'll be active in trade week again, with more emphasis on picks than players - I can easily see us having another 6 outs next year, even if we bring in some more players by trade and only go for 3 live picks.
If Lyons and Grigg for example are on the outer it means they've had another up and down season, their value will be even further down and they won't get us much. I just don't see us having much to barter with next year, unless of course someone goes that we want to keep and if that happens, we might as well give up.I know, but I think we'll be active in trade week again, with more emphasis on picks than players - I can easily see us having another 6 outs next year, even if we bring in some more players by trade and only go for 3 live picks.
Potentially negative fashion? Think you should clean up that postPretty much what I meant to say was I hope we get Milera and I'm hopeful that God's sensibilities are such that by invoking him in a potentially negative fashion he will engineer such outcome so as not to forsake his believers
