Emma Quayle Not sure he gets that far but you never know, someone always gets down a bit. He's in the mix for Melb, Ess, GC, Blues.

what happened to matt allen? someone on here said he was gun ages ago havent even seen his name in PDs. not going to get drafted?

I still think he has the potential to be a gun, but his form has been a bit up and down. He's now 193cm which puts him on the edge of KPF, but his running ability makes him more of a 3rd tall type I think.
As I've said before, I think he can play as a Tom Lynch (Crows one) type of player. He is more of a deep forward than Tommy, but can push up the ground.

In the champs, he had a good game, but more often than not, Phillips instructed his midfielders to run and carry and kick over the forwards heads. It was in stark contrast to what the Vics did. Matt spent most of the champs playing deep forward and leading without reward. Phillips also opted not to give him a run in the middle, which wasn't great. Phillips really did Matt no favours at all.

Matt then played some really good SANFL U18 and reserves games, and some average ones.

Draft wise, I suspect he will get picked up somewhere between 40-60 although he could sneak through to the rookie draft even. I actually had a weird dream last night (and I rarely ever remember dreams) that we drafted Matt with our first pick in the rookie draft. I woke up wondering where he was going to play in the SANFL side with McGovern etc... Would be one massive forward line! I also need a life.

Personally from a Crows perspective I would be rapt if we got him in the rookie draft, but I suspect Carlton or even Geelong will grab him with a late pick.

I am starting to get the feeling that Harry McKay might just be available for us with pick 9.

If the Weed slides as latest rumours are suggesting, do doubt he will not slide past Carlton. There are also some rumours that the Blues will select Burton with one of their picks. Just get the feeling that Harry McKay will be available for us to pick.

Latest reports suggest that Francis will not last until our pick. Would be happy with Milera and H. McKay. Either way, I think one of our picks will be a forward (preferably a KPF).

Bad news RE Burton. His medical was less than ideal. The word is he'll have to be managed through his early career (1-2 years) and wouldn't see a game for a long time.

Kind of how I assumed it would go so I'll remove the slash and just go with Tucker. I want to pick a tall but who?! Collins is the only one I rate with Weitering/Schache/Curnow/Weideman/McKay all gone but he's not that tall and can't ruck.

Balic is an interesting one if we were to go mid I think Mathieson would be the pick. Purely based on the fact he is a true mid and his supposed aggression.

Can't say unfortunately. I should have said his EARLY career (1-2 years) will be heavily managed. Not his entire career.

Burton - could be as good as Stringer, or could be a flop like Gumbleton.
