Looks like a few guys have slid compared to the phantom drafts, I’d hope we can trade in tomorrow to grab one of them.

Hobbs as the best actual contested ball winner is a nice selection for us, even if in an ideal world he’d be 6’5”.

If he’s built like a Neale or Adams he’ll be just fine.

Seems the safe selection, instead of the one that maybe could be great, maybe won’t be more than a flanker.

Johnson is an outside mid who has the potential to be good inside, Hobbs is the best inside mid in the draft.

I'm not going to pretend it's the most ideal situation (considering Erasmus would have been the ideal player), but Johnson's lack of contested ball winning makes it a line-ball call between Hobbs and Johnson. Can Johnson ever develop a genuine contested game or will he be a Langford type of player?

If Johnson's contested game was the same as Hobbs, then Johnson would have been the no-brainer option. Hobbs is a known quantity as an inside mid so I can see why we'd go that way.

Will be a player if he can adjust to men, which clubs see as a fairly big thing which is fair
