How will Tulla fair under the new points system as they don't have juniors.. I believe they recruited a lot of players this year due to players leaving after last year. All these recruits will attract points so they will have issues.
What's the allocated points for div1. Maybe 40-45 if premier is going to be 60.

I've heard (very reliable) that if Craigieburn don't win, Bugden gets the boot and the Cloke boys share the coaching role.

My understanding is that it's 60 points across the board for all 3 divisions

They have already spoke to the league about this issue and will have an extra 15 points which is fair id say

J cloke a massive in but 1 touch to the face and he's gone, Have been told he should not play again this year and now might try and come back cause the burners are currently not going to well.
Will be interesting come finals if he plays as I no Blair Cronin would be running straight at him , Interesting times come finals time ,,, Love it.

Coming into the last week of the regular season, my round 1 finals are as:

Seniors.
Ess doutta stars v craigieburn
Westmeadows v tullamarine

Reserves.
Ess doutta stars v westmeadows
Craigieburn v taylors lakes.

I think the unfortunate side to fall out of senior top 4 will be oak park. With oak park having douttas and tulla having east keilor. A big win for tulla and only 4% behind oak park on percentage could finish off oak parks year. Its been one of the best and closest seasons in years, and finals I can see, will not be any different.

I was very surprised that OP didn't put up much of a fight they turned on each other very early and you wouldn't have thought they were playing for a finals spot

All good and well to be young, but im not sold on there back line. After watching a few games last year and this year, the big losses of morris to the basin and thompson to injury could prove costly to there finals series. Clothier cant lock down and day is to lose and un fit. Liked there back line better last year

Agree with you on clothier, very good attacking lacks defensive side. As for day I'm guessing you haven't seen him play this year as he's probably had the least amount of goals kicked on him compared to other backmen and would be sitting top 2-3 in their bnf behind smith. Very talented player

I would have to disagree on your opinion here as I witnessed day get dominated against Tullamarine. A bag of goals was kicked on him costing eds the game. Is there any news on shylo smith returning soon because he is a required player for finals. I can see eds being vulnerable in the coming weeks being a young side they may get intimidated come finals time. I also heard Ronaldson has pulled up a bit sore that would be a huge loss of that is the case as he was just starting to hit some top form.

Is there any news on shylo smith returning soon because he is a required player for finals. I can see eds being vulnerable in the coming weeks being a young side they may get intimidated come finals time. In order of best defensive records. Craigieburn probably have more to worry about defensively. Have had two scores or 130+ scored against them by the other top 2 teams.

Ridiculous. EDS have been great in defence considering they lost Morris and Thompson from last season. Led by Day and Clothier!
Scibberas the only weak link, loose and very undisclipline. EDS still the team to beat and will win it comfortably in my opinion.
Westy had to make finals after all the hype they put on themselves, mainly by the coach, but must give credit to them. They have won big games when they looked gone this season. Tulla and OP supporters should be very proud of their clubs position, not many gave them a chance to play finals. Unfortunate one will miss out. Obviously CB still the danger with the Clokes, Young, McErlain, Paige etc. but they would need to turn their form around quickly
