Oak park u/i8s easily accounted for Kilmore ressys by 10 goals, senior team had about 16 out due to niggling injuries and cricket finals and won by 9 new recruits went well, very fit tight knit group .

Sorry, if someone has already brought this up, but I see Myles Quinn has lodged clearance paperwork with the league to be processed. Where is going too ?? Would definately be a huge loss to Strathmores onball brigade with Holman and Quinn departing in the same year. Who have they got to replace them ?

TC 26 can you clear up a couple issues that were raised on the weekend .Have you definately re-signed Glenn Sullivan for the up coming season because i heard on the EDFL jungle drums that a fracas has occurred recently that could determine the amount of free kicks he receives this season . Could the Sharks be back in the hunt for his services after recently trying to poach him from the KFC or could a certain ammo club come into calculations. Also Jobe Logans name came up , rated by many as having a great footy brain and the heir apparent for higher coaching duties, whats he doing , is he coaching somewhere in another competition ?

Glenn 'The Stras' Sullivan is a required player at the KFC and yes it is true that he no longer has the dyed blonde hair so he may not attract as many votes as he has in the past but free kicks will not be an issue because when you hit the ball as hard as 'Strasbourg' the umpire always rewards you. Enough said on this matter I think!
As for Joel Logan he is very astute and will be sorely missed at the KFC. I don't think he will coach anywhere else as the credibility of his mentors 2006-7 is questionable which might hamper any future coaching aspirations. He might take over down at OEG next year though as I'm not sure how long their new appointment will last.

TC 26 what do you think of Paul Roos tanking the NAB cup game by sending a player forward and telling him not to kick a goal . I personally think its prevalent in the EDFL and surely you could testafy to the fact that for a number of years now you have been give the same instruction every week .

having been a former teamate of "turbo" sullivan and a very good mate of mine back in the old school days i can also testify that his courage and grunt would be sorely missed. he is only the only bloke that gives his own sound effects during the game. lots of "ouch" "ooh" and "arrgh's" used to come from him whenever he was touched. the umps dont see the infringements but hearing Glenn with his "ohh" (while holding his head) would get him a freekick everytime!! we love "turbo" i wouldnt mind if he did join us at the sharks but doubt it

Very strange.
I think a lot of players were considering leaving if he stayed on and I know a few players had already left because of him.
Would not be surprised if players like Rabee considered playing at WC now.

I think you'll find the Saints have already recruited their 3 player quota from GV - Mocca, Bouzikas and the 3rd name escapes me. GV well within their rights to refuse the transfer, their 'fringe' group has been picked to pieces which will again test their depth.
