went down and watched majority of the game and the at east keilor vs sydenham. East keilor look like they have improved out of site from last year had sum big mobile forwards who were very hard for sydenham to contain.the scoreboard showed a very one sided game but i think east keilor will really give glenroy and westy a push this year.and sydenham just need to get all there players to gel and as apparently there was about 12 or 13 new blokes in the side and 4 or 5 hadnt played any pre season games so maybe abit underdone.Good to see east start of the season well as they are an a grade club

east keilor will be a good side with ewart and grigg up forward, they will definitely take it up 2 the good sides such as tulla glenroy pacco westy, could be a chance they scrape in if they can knock off the teams like taylors keilor park and airport west cause them 3 teams should be the ones pushin for that 5th spot in the finals, glenroy westy and tulla pacco are the big games this week

Got to see two A Grade matches yesterday.........

Saw the first half of Keilor vs GV and what a high intense first half it was. The JETS again look a class above and I wasn't that impressed with Caddy. Not as good as I thought, but it is only one week and he's gone to a much faster, much better skilled comp. Smith and Bloomfields strength were keys for GV and Bicer is all class. Massive crowd for Marcy's 300th. Keilor looked good. Picione was trying to rough a few up.

Got to Buckley Park at the start of the 3rd and just watched Marby Park pull Doutta's pants down. The worse thing I witnessed was the disgraceful group of "racist" Doutta's supporters on the opposite side to the clubrooms. They were abusing one of Marbo trainers and then as soon as the Lions piled on about 7 straight they stood there like blonks trying to hide. Embaressing!!!
Buttigieg was fantastic and I like the look of Leigh Gray. Didn't see Wooley playing or there tall Ruckman for Doutta's. Also, noticed LaVerde still wasn't playing for Marbo. Doutta's need to help Carey out.

if the group your talking about were douttas stars people, something will be done about them because we all know that's not on but are u sure they supported the stars???
was a big crowd on saturday with lots of keen on lookers not following anyone just there for a look at the local scene on a nice day. did notice a group '10' around the 50 arc around from the ymca which weren't douttas people if that's who you mean?
spot on about carey, what a champion footballer. sorry marby chb you were well and truly beaten, but not to many other MP boys were.

Got down to watch the game yesterday. Ds really struggled with there skills, marby are gooooood. I'm sure the boys from buckley will bounce back. ? number 13 for marby old fella who is he ?

Number 13 for Marby is Matthew Towner.

He is one of the Keilor boy's who departed at the end of the season also with Buttigieg, whichello & Bailey.

Towner had a sensational year last year, stiff not to make team of the year and was a rookie listed player at Essendon couple of years back.

Got off to a great start with his new club Marby on the weekend.

Could some one please give me a melways for next year please.....should had been 19 goals defeat

you're not wrong general!!!

i thought the recruits did well:thumbsdown:

caccamo - is that italian for hang out? if you're playing on the wing and the opposition team is scoring with every inside 50 you may want to think about working a bit harder defensivley and push into your back 50 help help your backman out, just stood 60 out on the boundary waiting for the easy rebound kick, you're not going to get a easy rebound kick if the boundary umpire is running back to the centre with the fooy:thumbsdown:

faraj - hard to say anything about his game as he didn't get anywhere near the footy, i dont know how people can say he should have been in greenvale's ones. wont be in doutta's ones by the end of the year:thumbsdown:

king - fat, slow, unfit and continually turned the ball over including twice hitting marby players on the chest 30 out under no pressure, if he is picked to play next week it will be on reputation only not on that performance:thumbsdown:

i thought tim tankard and carey worked hard for most of the day.

Now mooks, EK will go ok this year. They have picked up 5 or 6 Donvale players which are EFL Div 1 for anyones intuition. Along with some other good recruits and the handy core players from last year, its a good mix.

More like 1 or 2 from Donvale, who arent much chop anyway. There are just a lot of 20-21 year old mates that lived on campus at uni together that have landed at Cougar land, just to play with their mates and enjoy.

Your still a w*ak c*nt Wooley(bucksaway).cant wait to see your head get rolled,Marbo will wake up to you dud.Go and see a brain doctor,no need to send me a private as im not Brian FOOL.

no doubt theres is going too be alot of tough footy this year and kicks are gunna be hard too get, i wouldnt be in melbourne if i wanted too play easy footy. its what you do in pivotal moments that matter and ill give everything for my team too succeed.

Douttas can make me out too be this and that, in the end use are all a bunch of coc suckers who love to stir the pot.

BT knows he gave me jab when i wasnt ready for it, dont blow things up.

im one out and always will be on here.
lets just talk about how greenvale can get knocked off! or something else....

Doutta's arnt good when it comes to racism, they gave the Keilor Park boys a hard time last year so can only imagine that abers this year will be much the same.

sydney express you must of been at the wrong game
caccamo if you didnt notice had his knee strapped like a mummy and played at 70 % all game and did some very good things. hel get better once his knee comes good.

faraj started really well until he hurt his ankle early in the second quarter and struggled to run after that. sat the whole of the last quarter on the bench icing down the foot.

king well anyone who has played afl you have to respect, yes hes not fit but will get better every week adjusting to the hard grounds and hangouts of the edfl.

all three have played high level footy and will come back stronger. marby looked awesome and unstoppable, they wanted the footy more and they worked for eachother. no excuses for douttas performance it was below what is expected. come the next few weeks and positives will be posted. dont slag blokes if you werent out there playing.

well thats smart coaching then, put a bloke who can only go at 70% in a position that requires the most hard running

Billythekid - They were definately Doutta's supporters. I am sure one was a Tankard (looked chubbier than the others) and they were heavily supporting the Stars and giving Marbo Park players some stick.
Shocking to hear RACISM still in local football.
Again, they stood there like statue's when Marbo Park piled on about 7 goals in 15 minutes.
Still thought Doutta's coach Brian Grey spoke very well at the last break.

Billy, He might be right you know ??

Tankard and a couple of others were the ring leaders in the KP issue a season or two ago I believe ??

Attracted a suspension from the club if I am not mistaken ??

Brian Grey- Quality bloke and coach.

Doutta supporters- Narrow minded bunch of pigs.

I was standing on the opposite side of the ground of the clubrooms, and some of the crap that was coming out of their mouths was disgusting. I can tell you though, that if the waterboy had jumped the fence, a couple of them moronic supporters wouldve been drinking thru straws for the next month. They definately picked on the wrong guy.

As for the game, I thought Marby did as they pleased thru the midfield, because Douttas just didnt want to run with them. Douttas were, ( and you doutta ppl can deny it all you want ) scared of Marby, they just werent prepared to put theirs heads over the ball, they looked very very soft when it was there to be won. Apart from Carey, who was good, but Pilling wasnt disgraced either.

Echuca Boy,

Griggy and co. might be the nuts and bolts of the cougars for the next few years.

i wouldnt be surprised if the boys from east keilor make the top 4.
after last years poor performance, surely they will bounce back. some good old and new inclusion in the team will see them beat some top opponents.

Not exactly sure what the hell that message means, but I'm gonna have a guess that you're happy about Aberfeldie winning on the weekend. Well done.

A wise man once said, "when you make the end zone, at least 'act' like you've been there before."

It's a long year and it remains to see how good a 6 goal win over OP is.....

I'll keep my money in my pocket for now thanks....:D
