Tulla finished the year really well and I thought Simon Isles did a great job.
They decided for an experience coach and got 2004 Runner-Up coach from Paco Ronald Rooney. He has recruited a few to Tulla and they will be dangerous and be pushing for a finals spot. They will be very fit I hear and a dangerous Round 1 game for Marby at Tulla.

Simon Isles is now the reserves coach of West Coburg. We are excited about having someone of Simon's quality on the coaching panel!

hey matty,

can you confirm J.Murphy to Marby AND will have answers from J.Bell AND B.Janezic this week end!!!!

Mate how good is this thread!!! I wonder writing to you blokes, that I have probably met or spoken to you all in person sometime.
Rox Park has signed ex Richmond & St Kevins Paul Greanam and are close to signing Ty Zantuck if he decides to stay in Melbourne and not play in the QFL and live with parents up in Noosa. He would be huge. Rox Park were a totally different unit in the 2nd half of past season. Syd will improve, but because of the rise again in comp standard will probably lure at the bottom of the table.
Keilor Park have really come up the ranks over past month recruiting very well. They were in trouble and after losing players like Barclay (APW), C.Smith (g'vale), Brown (Bundoora), Scifo (ret) they have picked up some very talented aboriginal players and about 4 or 5 other good players.
Craigiburn better get moving in recruiting or they might very well do a Tulla in 04. Look out for EK to announce a few strong names over next few weeks and Marby Park may have another massive name to join Weston and Garbutt in the recruiting stacks.
Matthew you really do talk to much

garbutt will play only the required 6 games to qualify for finals, but those 6 games will be for big $$$ this is due to his injury problems that play havoc with his job at the force response unit with VICPOL.
Actually, it's only four games to qualify for the finals.

Douttas are my personal tip to challenge Strathmore. The loss of Gathercole is going to be huge, but the pick ups of Kade Carey (Wayne's cousin), Mark De Sousa (T.L), another tall, Luke Ryan (M.Valley) and a former 100 goal kicker in country league. Plus the coaching combo of Stevie Kolynuick and Brian Gray will make them have a great year. They are fit and hungry also.
Lost more than Gathercole. Locke, Elsum, Power all reported to have gone as well.

Is Brian Gray still around? He's obviously recovered from his poor coaching form with Marby park a few years back. How are Marby looking for this year? any comings and goings?

well caveman, with a coaching record like simon`s what qualities would he bring to West Coburg?

So Matty (or should that be Oracle?), who is this 100-goal kicker Douttas are alleged to have picked up? If you're not in a position to give us a name, just a league and the season he topped the ton will suffice.

I am pretty sure Chris McKay is Jamie Dillons cousin from the Valley. He came their late last year and can play. I doubt that he will stay as he is also good mates with Nick ALoi and Karl Norman who have gone up bush.
I think Chris is an on baller or flanker. Good hard player.

thnaks matty. Yeah there are some whispers circulting that he will end up joining Akoi and Norman at Mooroopna in the GV in 2006.

yer well poor Brian did not have much there at the time, he had guys there that would have got a game at Marby reserves last year playing key position in the seniors that year. The following year looked better for him picked up a few players like the Agrestas etc but Brain quit after round 2. I heard various stories about why he quit maybe Matty can fills us in??

We must be on at the same time. Brendan Heir is the ex 100 goal kicker for Douttas. A gun, but his body is a worry. Very talented.
Marby's possible new recruit is an ex AFL.

Any hints there? I heard that this player is a premership player, and a best fairest winner :thumbsu:
