Ok boys the season is over where is everyone going on their footy trip and how many people are attending?

Here is what I know or have been told...

Paco have 2 trips. One to Cairns with 14 people and one overseas with 6 people.

Nth Coburg are going to Hobart with 41 people attending.

Sydenham not sure where going but about 25 people I have been told (D-Mac? is that correct?)

Anyone else?

He hung around for the presentation then took straight off after that, did not even go close to the rooms. Last i saw of him was walking a a quick pace through the school carpark. Maybe there has been a falling out between himself and the assistant coach Brian Gray. Or is he that much of a sore loser!!! No doubt the club he is going to are not going to like what they are going to hear about this. Not a very good clubman.

Come on Bricksta or G Ghost shed some light for sure you guys know if this is the case!!!!

This incerdent has to be up there with the East Keilor not coming out after half time against Strathmore.
Yes, you are correct in seeing Steve Kolyniuk heading through the schoolpark after the presentation of the flag and cup. He met with his wife, two young kids and parents away from the spotlight as he hadn't spent a great deal of time with them during the week. He spent possibly 5-10 minutes with them headed back to the change rooms and then caught the bus with the rest of the boys and headed back to Doutta's.......... I don't think that rates anywhere near the East Keilor incident or even when Strathmore pulled the plug against Keilor Park a couple of years ago when it was a little too cold. !!!!!!

The boys r going to Adelaide the week after the AFL granny but only 14 are going now as a heap pulled out (some not enough money & a couple r selling their souls i mean getting married in the new year so have to save for that) but either way they will still run amok as they always do and i'm sure they'll keep me informed how they r going whilst they r on it no doubt (lucky pricks i'm gonna bleed that weekend).

Not anytime soon unless hes passing thru to get a change of clothes to head out again, spoke to the great man in the windy hill bar after their victory and he was over the moon as u would be and i told him if i seen him on here in the next week i will have him hunted down and tortured for stupidity lol.
P.S And i'm not sure if he was a bit delirious but he threw Marcus Barclays name up as coach for my boys THE SHARKS next year, not too sure about that one

Went to the grand final on Sunday, it was my 1st time to an edfl game. I was there with no alliances to any club and couldnt believe how poor Doutta Stars were. They did not look to interested at all. There so called stars were pathetic. Ramsay was barely sighted all day, was he injured. I couldnt understand a player of his quality spending so much time in the forward 50. When he did get the ball his disposal was shocking, always seemed rushed and turned it over heaps. Hollow got plenty of the ball but his decision making and skills let him down big time, plus the fact he kept slipping over at crucial times. As for Carey he has a great pair of hands but his 2nd and 3rd efforts were absolutly shocking. He didnt seemed intersted if he didnt get the 1st grab and his selfishness at having a shot from the boundary 50m out in the 1st quarter summed up what was going to happen. All good players dont get me wrong, but didnt deliver on the big stage. No.11 Laverde I think wqas very good for Doutta all day.

On the other hand Strathmore seemed to be so much more disciplined and stronger. But as we all know money only lasts a short time.

For those of you who were on here defending Aaron James a few weeks ago, He has just been suspended for 4 years by the rdfl for abusive and threatning language aswell as threatning behaviour towards an umpire in aparently a pretty ugly incident in a final on the weekend, aparently he initially recieved 2 years but upon hearing the verdict he threw chairs and abused the tribunal members so the penalty was up graded to 4 years... Seems a sad end to the footballing career of a player once spruiked by dermie as having the potential to be the next Wayne Carey, will probably cost him a fair amount of coin as well.

Might be a good coach, heard he is a great motivator. Probs all you need for such a talented side.

Get them motivated = Deliver the goods.

Mores too good. Recruiting was very strategic with J. Barnard the lynchpin. Holman told Douttas about him two years ago but they didn't act as a result Holman, O'Brien and Paul Barnard all end up at Strathmore. The Western Australian connection probably also got Quinn over the line. Its not all about the money, mateship plays a large part.
