KLACKS said:its all cat and mouse until we sign contracts. nah its got a lot to do with my brothers choice as well. if were not playing at the same club then it puts a lot of pressure on the family who to go and watch.
never seen my mum and dad happier when we both ran out for the 1st time together in the same team.
dunno about you blokes but if you were in our situation not winning a game for 12 months i suppose the only thing you can do is make the people around you happy and give it your all.
really looking forward to 2007 and getting some premiership points!
By Hillie taking his and other peolpes money to Stratmore he has made all the clubs in the EDFL go up a level in B and A grade and lifted the standard just like Northcote Park did for the DVFL in the early 00's and late 90's, if these people dont the standard stays the same or declines and no wants thatsuper 07 said:that would be a massive loss if true -
also starboy confirmed hillie will coach strathmore in 2007 , whilst Im not a strathmore man,
it is interesting to see most people pot the bloke for just doing what most would do for their clubs
he certainly is well qualified to coach a grade football
as a coach he has
got money into his club ( whose it is is irrelivant )
taken the club from middle of the road to 2 premierships
from what I see he has only taken the lead from greenvale and to succeed taken it a step further , The reality is the top 4 clubs would be spending similar money to the ballarat - diamond valley - eastern leagues .
it just makes it hard on the smaller clubs who dont have the resources

Soft Eating said:Very true, but could his money have better spent on things that would be more beneficial to the club in the future ie. better ground and facilities, as apposed to a run at a couple of flags?
bricksta said:not the first time this rumor has been spread about Chuck Sticks is it true???
Will big Patto be back?
wizza14 said:Aren't they Council Issues Soft Eating!!
The Mores wont be playing at Lebanon Reserve next year, the ground is being fixed, at the expense of the Moonee Valley Council.
Looks like they will be at North Old Boys ground in Brunswick, ex VFA ground I think?
My North said:and where are NOBS going to play. Moonee Valley concil will help out Strathmore with a ground and the ideal choice is Walter St Reserve in Ascot Vale. Walter St hardly gets used for seniors expect for a Superules game every now and then.
wizza14 said:I didn't know KNOBS played 18 home games in a season.
They will play there.

I don't know if you can call the standard 'Red Hot', when the side that finished first beat the second side in the 2 finals they met, by an average of 72pts. Then you have the second side coming from 11 goals down in the Prelim, good for spectators - yes, don't know about the competition standard as a whole though Macca. Don't get me wrong, I think that what guys like Hille and Allison did by injecting a lot of their own cash into their respective clubs is fantastic, but not for the competition as a whole. I don't know how to control it, but I know some clubs will struggle to survive trying to compete.Macca29 said:SUPER CALL!!!!!!![]()
