Will marby mix it with the mores and jets next season with the recruits they have??? I never saw marby play this year but from all reports they would of been in the bottom half in A grade.
Is everyone just trying to stay afloat for the points system the following year and hope the top two come back to the field a little??

Douttas are a club with great spirit and a tremendous history don't discount them completely. The jungle drums say they may be close to signing a couple of experienced recruits, some people have short memories

Im not sure that Douttas will be able to challenge top 2 although last year they put in a very good effort against the Jets up there and also against the Mores at home but ill back em to win more games then last year,which was only 6 from memory but yeah they'll improve somewhat

As previously discussed, if clubs are waiting for GV and SM to 'come back to the field' when the points system comes in they're sadly misled. By 2009 or 2010 when this system 'MAY' come in both SM and GV's teams would easily come under the cap. What it will stop is other teams trying to catch up as they will be restricted on how many big names they'll be able to bring in.
The points system as i have read it, works to stop teams importing a team full of AFL and/or VFL stars in one year. Building a team over 2-3 years will easily be done under the system.

Careful we all dont get too carried away with KP just yet,
Every year they are rated based on the players they have supposed to have and no one shows up.
The great man Marcus is flying and I have heard some more high profile names are yet to come, and some old favourites are trying to find ways to break contratcs and return, but lets wait and see
